Neutral Paradise by Brendan Byrnes.
You mean thats been realeased in the last 6 months or just from any time?
by the way the last one I found was "Where do you go from here" by Jandek, it's my 7th 10/10 out of ~1000 albums listened
any time, If we're talking 2019 I haven't even heard a 9/10
just randomly off of the top of my head this album from the 90s i think is 10/10 that nobody talks about.
The Urge - Master of Styles
they combine every rock style that was big in the 90s into one album, which seems like it would be awful but they really made it work for this one album.
thank you dude will check out too
Loud City Song
>he hasn't heard the masterpiece that is muurmue
why even live

I have heard it. It looks like it's super obscure, but it's actually on the mu-core essential chart heheh.
Good and unique album tho, no questions.
Garden of Delete by Oneohtrix Point Never.
also The Argument by Fugazi
also The Argument - Fugazi
What do you think of the re-release of Ascension? I was so happy to find out it was finally on vinyl until I learned that it has been remixed with new vocals. It was perfect the way it was
I don't know if I've ever heard a 10/10 album
then what are you using for your bar?
the best album you have ever heard isnt a 10?
Subjectively sure, but I could still pick out a thing or two I'd change. Perfection isn't really possible I don't think.
I dont think thats what 10/10 means.
It just means the best, or whatever you like the most.
This album isn't for everyone. Only those with a high IQ will understand why this is a 10/10 masterpiece
10/10 is not about perfection, coz perfection isn't real. The only true quality of a 10/10 is that its noticeably better than a 9/10, which is better than 8/10 and so on. This means that 10/10 albums can theoretically vary in quality, but really albums that are so good (or more precisely albums that you like/understand that much) are so rare it makes sense to just give them the highest rating.
picrelated my rym distribution
the first 2 songs from it I absolutely love, my favorite trap songs ever, but the rest I don't get yet. Listened to it like 5 times already. Overall it's dope, bot not a 10/10 (at least for me yet)
Listen to Kelly K it's pretty good
Yeah they are all at the very least kinda cool, this album is just yet to click with me I think
Drug church- cheer
nice dubs, and here you go.
that's a 10, definitely. Repeater also
Know about this one. Rate it a 10 on RYM and see what happens :^)
gladly :^)
the last 10/10 I found was 2 years ago, was Anthony Braxton - For Alto
although I feel like I've become a lot more conservative with my ratings overtime, perhaps too much for my own good
Wolves in the Throne Room - Thrice Woven
Last one that was 10/10 for me was There's A Riot Going On by Sly & the family stone. Check it out if you haven't yet.
If you're into kind of 'out-there' jazz, I'd recommend (Elevation - Pharoah Sanders)
One of my personal favorite albums of all time. Grouper - Dragging a dead deer
Jesus, 60 albums in one month. Do you even enjoy it at that point, that's like mass consumption lol. I'll listen to an album and usually re-listen to it a few times, over a few different days to let it really sink in (unless I hate it)
What kind of sounds are you into anyway?
Not only that, I listen to almost everything 3 times minimum. Yeah. I was always the type of person who learned things I liked until there's nothing left to learn, and with music it's like I got an infinity supply of things to listen to, so I barely ever lose interest. And occasionally i will find a neat 8+/10 (every 5 albums to be precise) and it is all worth it. I've kept this pace for more than a year now.
Anything goes, but I guess I like black metal, vaporwave, non-whiny indie rock, noise.. ah fuck it I'll just list every genre I like like this. I like agressive, sad, depressive and harsh shit i guess.
ween
It is mu-core, but to be fair I've yet to delve into them, so good rec actually
Pixies - Bossanova
