Where do I start with this guy?
Where do I start with this guy?
his first album
His music is on youtube now if you search for it.
Highway 61 revisited and Blonde on Blonde are my picks
just listen to his music, faggot.
Freewheelin'
He’s terrible.
A good 3-pack sampler:
Bringing It All Back Home
Blood on The Tracks
Time Out of Mind
Between those 3 long players, you'll get a good grip on what he does.
Blood on the Tracks
Blonde on Blonde
Highway 61 Revisited
his first, then you listen on to his last. same as any other artist
not all of it, not even most of it. just a bunch of tracks
Hey, I'm really fucking high. I'm able to post right now, obviously because you're reading this, but for some reason I can't make a new thread. My IP range is banned from making new threads, but not from posting in other people's threads, as evidence by the fact that you are reading this post.
Anyways, I really want to discuss My Bloody Valentine and I want to discuss something other than Loveless.
Can somebody please make a new thread with the "Isn't Anything" album cover and the caption "Better than Loveless." for me? I would greatly appreciate it.
Tangled Up In Blue is a good song
Start with his greatest hits desu
His secound album
I will if you mail me $5
>2019
>mailing cash
The Minnesota Hotel Tapes
his first album, and go chronologically
The Last Waltz
Literally anywhere my first Dylan album was Nashville Skyline
I always thought his singing sucked and his lyrics were pretentious and stupid but then I got all heartbroken and really dug into Blood On The Tracks, that's a good one. Also really like John Wesley Harding, stripped down country rock sound with a smidge of pedal steel, got into that one through Fairport Convention cuz they do a cover or two off of it
A few albums are on there at least, you can't find the playlists on his channel

Overrated.
Freewheelin to blonde on blonde. Then blood on the tracks. Then basement tapes and the other late 60s albums.
Try blonde on blonde. It’s a good night in the bar at the art kids party.
Triplicate for the lols. Its recommended to start with his first up to Desire.
FREEWHEEL
Most overrated songwriter of all time.
Blond on blonde is the rock precursor to Gorguts - obscura. I am positively convinced if this and you cannot refute me. Bob Dylan IS stoner metal.
Blood on the Tracks is the only true answer
This. Was wondering why nobody was saying this.
>go to your music streaming service of choice
>pick the Dylan's album with the cover who attracts you most
>enjoy
The ovens
As others have said, Blood On The Tracks is a great entry point. If you want to start with his early stuff then Freewheeling Bob Dylan is great.
easily one of the cringiest posts I've seen so far this year, congrats
I'm glad you like that yellow star
start with Desire, then go backwards
ok, that joke was a little better than "murdoch murdoch le epic edgy nahtzee humor!", i'll give you that one
you don't
oh man I am so jealous of someone getting to start with Bob Dylan. you start with his first album, which ain't so good. but then listen to his bests in chronological order. you can stop listening to him once he reaches 1980. all of the greatest stuff is before that.
personally my favourite album of his is Desire 1976. the second song Isis is soooooo fucking good. read the lyrics.
I started with Blonde on Blonde, and while I kinda enjoy it, it doesn't belong to my favorites. I'll try Blood on the Tracks
>starts with blonde on blonde
>doesn't like it
brutal
underated
wow that's just sad. then again it took me a few listens before I really liked it. Times are Changin is better I think.
Pathetic attempt at country music for kikes.
THE most overrated musician perhaps ever.
H-A-C-K
His biggest crime was not having the decency to die before 30 like the rest of the 60s memes.
The ultimate pleb opinion
Highway 61 > John Wesley Harding > Blood On the Tracks > Blonde on Blonde > Bringing it All Back Home > Freewheeling > The Times They Are Changing
I haven't listened to the rest yet
>pleb kike chiming in
Your boy is a hack
Not knowing what folk music is and saying he sounds like country makes you a pleb faggot...he is no doubt overrated though but very influential and has some songs that hold up still like hurricane and ballad of a thin mano ou
>...saying he sounds like country makes you a pleb faggot
Im not saying he sounds like country music, he sounds like he tried to write good country music songs and failed miserably.
Saying Dylan is good or profound just makes you a sheisty jew trying to meme your tribe as usual.
Highway 61 revisited
The freewheeling bob Dylan
Blonde on blonde / bringing it all back home

That's the career .
He was in Pat Garret and Billy the kid you know.
It is all further variations of the same here on in
