I remember the day. I was 13 years old and my mom picked up me and my friend from the mall and broke the news to us. We were both big Nirvana fans at the time. They were huge back then. I had long hair, played guitar, smoked weed. Literally looked and emulated Kurt every way I could when I was younger. Flannel shirts, the whole nine yards.

Very sad day. We couldn't believe it. Looking back its really hard to not ever think if some sort of foul play was involved. Its frustrating. A big part of rock music culture died that day. Fast forward to today and now everything is all nigger bullshit. Nigga this, nigga that.

38 today and I woke up thinking about this very day 25 years ago. Grew my hair out again this past year and its longest its ever been since I was around that age. Life is short bros. Don't ever give up on life no matter how hard it gets. This is all we got.
