I don't understand this meme. The title track and untitled are harsh but that's about it.
Avey said the masters got fucked up somehow and this was his best attempt at restoring them. Might have been water damage or something. I can't remember exactly and I don't feel like searching for the source but it wasn't just because it was recorded in a living room.
