Well normally I can stomach bad quality, but your mic makes the song unlistenable to be honest. Holy shit... lmao.... The instrumental itself seems fine, but there is way too much distortion going on during the singing portions. The solo near the end doesn't seem to fit well either.
props to you for the weirdest concept record i've laid eyes on in a good few months. this sounds dated as fuck but i know that's the point so really, hats off.
LOOKING FOR COLLABORATORS! Hit me up if interested :)
This is really darn good but you've spoiled me with this " all sounds are guitar" part - would love to keep it as a mystery, adding some ambiguity to that record :) What was your setup, what effects do you use?
pedalboard was a combination of DL4, DD6 and DD7 for loops + Harmonist and Holy Stain for textures. i do some post processing on the final track that i won't peel back the curtain on because i built the patch through trial and error and would like to keep it in the warchest ;)
appreciate the feedback though! will absolutely give yours a listen based on those tags

You really need to fix the levels on your vocals, your mic blows out continuously.
I like the synthscapes that slowly expand underneath the guitarwork, I think it’d be stronger as a 3 minute cut personally I started losing interest towards the end this is very neat to me, the vocals are very indie pop which contrasts nicely with the beat, those flute like samples buried in the mix are a good touch that transition after the first minute of fairy princess... just wow man I’m impressed, pretty funny lyrics too
i'm >> 86935413 # giving feedback since i forgot to
# i really like the percussion on this, the piano melody is a bit too busy for my tastes but it with the rest of the sounds it really compliments the rhythm throughout the track
# normally im not the hugest fan of ost rehashes but you really nailed the ps1 quality of the samples/instruments used. cant wait to hear the rest
# this track is beautiful, i love the sample warping, textures and the sidechain synth throughout is glossy as fuck
Cameron Lopez
This is sick. I love the concept and the instrumentation fits perfectly with the aesthetic.
I like your voice a lot, reminds me of Aesop Rock maybe.
Love your voice and your earnest songwriting. I love the folk/trap combo!!
# ur flows are sick,i really like the raspy synths. maybe put a filter on the vocals or fuck with the mix a bit, i cant quite place what im trying to say ther.. sorry

>> 86935413 # sorry for the multiple replies but heres something i made earlier
Some of it gets kind of difficult to make out due to quality. I've got to back some of the other comments about a mic. I think even a somewhat cheap upgrade could tremendously improve your sound.
I think the synth in this is subtle and well placed. Why's the track still private? Sounds pretty good to me.
Not my usual kinda stuff. What kinda gear were you using?
Ian Mitchell
this is dope as fuck, sounds like it could actually be on spideman ost
got those beach house type vibes i dig it (2018)
not really my style but its not bad, makes me think of a more techno/pop teen suicide?
