>spacey cloud rap / trap beats >new tape just released >hmu if u rap im always looking 2 work with new ppl
this is dope. i love the way the different textures compliment each other. you also develop your tracks really well. i highly recommend this to anyone into more experimental electronic music.
very cold and mechanical vibes here. kinda futuristic and a little spooky. definitely has really great atmosphere.
Hands down my best vocal performance & layering to date, especially in the second half
>avant-pop >footwork >world >high bpm >lots of harmonies
This is the second single from Every Day Is Another Step Around the Fire, pre-order and get two essential bonus tracks upon the album’s arrival
Was kinda bored with the first track, but the falling whale creeps is pretty tight, your vocal timbre suits the drum/synth combination, also the breakdown was pretty cool
Your soundplay is usually fairly interesting, but this one isn’t doing anything for me, way too short for the little development it undergoes, and the tones are just so lifeless, I feel absolutely nothing, and maybe that’s fine sometimes, but usually I do want to feel something when listening to music
it's been a while (about a year) since I've made anything, but I have something that I've been messing with for the past few days. thank you guys for still being here
very frantic, reminds me of aphex twin. good sampling you do a very good job of capturing that authentic punk pop sound. did you guys use tape or something? really good control over drum patterns/sampling, makes it a very interesting listen
soundcloud.com/dvdgnome/pkb >honestly pretty basic >lil uzi X soul ii soul >[]-[] [] []D []-[] [[]] []D Love your sound pallet This is so hard and fresh Cool sound here
I love ur production and vocals and piano playing Ur stuff is always a trip, love ur samples and production This is really cool, I love the variety of all ur stuff from punk to industrial kinda stuff
Absolute recc. Been following this dude a long time. Got anything new coming soon?
Brandon Cruz
This shit is ear candy! catchy hooks, smooth organs, tasty guitar, what's not to love... you gotta keep making music man, you have great talent. And yes I use a tascam to record, thanks for listening.
Charles Price
>Your soundplay is usually fairly interesting, but this one isn’t doing anything for me [...]
There are a lot of continuos transformations going on from start to end on the harmonic, tonal, temporal and timbric sides, everything is fluid. Sound comes from fm synthesis with extreme jitter alteration, you say it's "lifeless" and I get what you intend, but I think it has its own life.
Christopher White
Just the picosong link and a bunch of scrap clips/lyrics. I'm sure most people here know what it's like when life gets in the way and it's really hard to just get some shit recorded :/ anyways, thanks for listening man, it means a lot I'm glad you enjoyed it, thank you for listening. You guys should do a couple of songs (EP, mixtape, etc) on one of those older tape recorders, pic related
Your new tune is really bright. I like it, but the synth reminds me of animal crossing a little. I got to listen to some of your more recent tracks I missed. Metalworks is really dark and smooth.
Evan Rogers
Ahh good times recording on those panasonics, I have a bunch of old tapes recorded on those before I got the 424.
Kayden Hughes
I like the lowkey percussion on improv 26.
Really interesting production and tone. Very playful. Why is the track private? Won't let me like it

my mixtape is gonna be a harsh noise / mumble rap crossover thing but I'm tryna build up the sc followers before i do anything more experimental with this project :))
I love the noise/drones that come in at the end, almost anxiety inducing love ur production, its always murky and kinda ethereal and im early fucking w this one I really fuck with this tape. moongazer is so dope, I love the airy ambience in the background!!
Nope, I used an Alesia sr16. The lyrics are very trite haha I was in a rush so just sang whatever came to mind. You have a good ear for melody, love the modulation towards the end. Really cool changes
thanks for the feedback! >I used an Alesia sr16 sounds good! very lively your vocal performance definitely makes up for the lyrics, which get the point across regardless love the hazy lo-fi section and guitarwork at the end
Chase Ross
finally a good thread full of people actually reviewing things!!!!
>soundcloud.com/taylorponton/untitled-february nice vocal effects going on here. always a huge fan of using vox as instrument. Like the vibe. Kinda too sad for me right now though :(
>have a nice life ripoff >some kind of swans chorus >not going outside enough >sometimes pseudo black metal
this is super tight, i like all the little arpeggios sprinkled in (like at 0:44/1:50 etc). is this all digital? what are you making it with?
honestly really impressed with everything i've listened to on here so far, cover art is sick too
good blend of semi intricate without being obnoxiously technical guitar work, mixes very well with all the ambient synth stuff and effects too. seriously everyone on here is killing it so far.
this song IS rain! very chill and mellow. refreshing
i'm glad you like the arpeggios, i wasn't sure about them. it's all digital, i use ableton and an mpk mini 2 but there's lag so i have to basically write out every single note haha youtube.com/watch?v=TGGRLD_ekyQ holy fuck this song and video are sick af! 10/10 big rec, very impressed, next level. awesome lyrics too, and good drumming
as a boomer, i've never heard of tomodachi life and thought you meant tamagotchi lol cute song i like it. super simple and evokes the beyond.
Dylan Mitchell
Dope video, I think I enjoyed it more than the song itself. That being said, the song isn't too shabby either. :)
Ayooo you create some very lovely melodies in your improvs. Lovely lo-fi piano ballads. Don't think you'll like my stuff. But oh well I like yours. Lol
Sorry jazz cat but you really need to work on your flow when rapping. Song also had a lot of big gaps without any vocals which made it hard to get into
Yep, this is ableton. Mixed too quiet overall, or any specific parts? I think the master could've been 2-3 db louder in hindsight.
Cooper Kelly
>soundcloud.com/lyfe-indoors/could-run-it oh and great vocals all around in your track by the way. The moodier trap sound is not my thing usually (i don't like the ambient trap stuff on here most of the time) but this is nearly radiohead in mood, like kid a but slightly warmer. Sincerely, great fucking job. The song just keeps getting better as it goes along. sincerely some of the best stuff I've heard on here. Have I said I like the vocals in the background?
>emo rap, cloud rap, noise rap, trap rap, experimental hip hop >first single off my first album protracted peoples war soundcloud.com/lilkpin/sick-of-la-prod-squid-juice >singles off genome soulja which drop on 4/26/19 on all platforms soundcloud.com/lilkpin/sets/genome-singles >genome soulja preorder lilkpin.bandcamp.com/album/genome-soulja >project i did with lil kava who i worked with from these threads soundcloud.com/lil_kava/sets/distorted-reality >always down to work with other producers or rappers hmu on soundcloud >always return feedback on soundcloud RECS the saxiphone and bass are fucking dope damn this is dope i also make industrial noise rap type shit i like it a lot brother. reminds me of a mix of peep and drippin so pretty dope and i left u a comment on soundcloud keep doing what u doin bro!
>neat retro sound, very 80s, kind of darkwave. some cool synths, could see it as a soundtrack to an indie flick. gritty. good stuff
Thank you!
As for "jesus loves you": I am catapulted to my childhood of hearing MIDI files play in the backgrounds of various Geocities and Angelfire sites. Excellent arrangement. Thank you for the nostalgia.
Yllidfeal is dope. You don't lean on exponential rhythm shit too heavy which (I think) is over done as fuck. Long form melody is cash too rflo is nice and understated The rhodes on skymelt is kinda bland the rhythm is dope I wish it overtook the piano and developed a little faster though
Just released this recently yesterday I spent a lot of time on it. I can't really specify a genre for this song, i feel like my music falls into a niche category of electronic music. But it takes elements of some other genres as well. If you check it out thank you for listening to it even if you didn't like it.
You guys should come up with a name for these threads so I can filter them more easily. I'll pitch some ideas: >/creative/ >/oc/ general >/cloud/ >/shill/ >/composers/ >/watmm/
Brayden Phillips
soundcloud.com/inmemoryofmy/you-died-demo >Singer Songwriter >folk >indie or emo idk coming out with a full version sometime soon plus a video, hope someone enjoys i think the mic quality needs some work, but that jazz song was creative as fuck and i loved the lyrics and the sax holy hell that was interesting, love the vibe keep it goin not chaotic enough, if it was noisier i think you could have a good big black thing going
