I didn't buy a Jaguar because of Cobain. I bought it because it felt nicest in my hands and I enjoyed the tone it can achieve. It's good for surf/psych/jangle pop type music and I found, after I purchased mine, it's actually the same model Karl Wilson played from 1960-1963. Sounds amazing with some spring reverb.
