I don't even know I even come to this board anymore... these anons (in specific the blockhead that is Red user) are the epitome of regurgitated opinions that you see everyday spewed online. Let me make you a TL;DR for anons who are spending their time better than me by not reading this (which will probably go on longer than that chat log as i'm ranting hard)

#1 -Blue asks red his favorite Beatles to which he replies [an album, doesn't matter which to be honest] to which blue retorts with the classical "shit taste" and red replies that is only album of the band he's listened. Now, how the fuck can you say that that album is your favorite if you haven't even scratched the surface of such expansive discography the band has?

#2 - Red user goes on to say that music died after the grunge period.That music is now just rehashes of the past that are "made on a computer" whatever the fuck that means since MIDI and computers were already present before the aforementioned period. He implies music now a days is just digital, lifeless and that there are no virtuoso musicians anymore. He says it's not music if it isn't a real instrument. Now let's deconstruct this shit fest shall we. What's is an instrument? A tool that produces sound. What is music? An arrangement of sound. So take, for instance, a modular synth, to the eyes of Red it isn't good just because it's "white noise", disregarding the technique that involves playing a machine of that complexity.

#3 -Discusses the inferiority of the digital audio medium as it isn't as pristine format as the Vinyl Holy Grail. However, Red has no idea how to describe the sonic differences between the 2 nor does he even what sound-system he fucking owns.

That's besides the point, you can consider Beatles shit for all i care but i think it's entirely presumptuous to assume the best or worst of something when you haven't heard enough of a band/genre to create a decent opinion. Spouting critics on a subject you're not knowledgeable just makes sound like an ignorant imbecile.
I have heard multiple Beatles albums and consider my favorite of the ones i've heard the SPLHCB yet i can't even be sure that this is my favorite as i have to listen to the rest of the discography.
The problem with this boards discussion is that it revolves around a meta which leads to a discussion on regurgitated opinions instead of actual ones.
