do i look cute: like the beat switch up and hazey vibe is great - catchy hook
asleep: love the instrumental - 808 is too heavy for me personally, but that might be the style
you have a good ear for hooks tho, and your singing is not only pretty good but you've mixed it in very well

my mixtape is gonna be a harsh noise / mumble rap crossover thing but I'm tryna build up the sc followers before i do anything more experimental with this project :))
I like the third and fourth tracks a lot! your drums are really cool this shit is super hypnotic and I love the delay on some of your drums! 'do I look cute' sounds really blissful and the vocals sit nicely on it!
Listened to Twirl. I really liked the sound of guitars in this, and the while kind of dreamy vibe. The vocals need to be louder I think, and I think it would be better with more bass. But yeah neat track, I also liked the brevity of it.
bass is complete fire - this is super well produced, i love this, melody is great as well
bladee is a good inspo btw

thank you so much. that means a lot because i never used to do vocals bc i thought i sounded dumb but i’ve tried to make more and more tracks just trying to find a confident sorta voice to pull of yk what i mean? thank you! got a lot of inspiration for that beat from the one of the newer playboi carti snippet (soundcloud.com/yungblom/molly)
That intro was pretty long. But that first comment is right, it comes in strong. The beat is really interesting and goes in great directions. That sample-sounding laugh/talking is eerie as shit. Haha. The fx on the second verse. This is a cool ass song.
Already excited just from the description. Oh shit. Already coming in really strong. I wish the bass was a bit louder. Just a bit. The vocals sit really well in the mix. Hi-hat tone is really nice. Is that a sample? I would believe that that's just on a really well-miced kit. I really like the song, but think it could use a sorta instrumental break section. I dunno.
Well this is just fucking awesome. Goddamn. Those super cliche drum fills sound very fresh, too. And when the bass kicks up to 8th notes is so fulfilling. Super cool.
Old songs, because fuck it. Nobody listens to the shit, anyway.
that instrumental is really dope. your vocals also suit the track pretty well. The production is definitely my fav aspect of the track though.
listened to Tru Love (Cash). love your voice, it's soothing.
love when the song picks up at 0:25, everything comes in very well. The drumming and guitar is my fav, the vocals are good - but a bit cliche. Overall though, really solid track. Nice to hear some good emo on these threads (: ty.
true love cash rocks. really like the intro. ur voice works great with the music. with the muddied and muffled production its a great dynamic. lyrics r fun too.
this is really cool. i dig the concept, and you pull it off well. too bad i dont know the actual Spiderman soundtrack to compare it, for all i know ur ripping them off completely. but im gonna assume ur not cuz its much cooler than i imagined the spiderman soundtrack would be.

soundcloud.com/cpt-clod >Electronic >Rock >Vocals I've been working on music based on some of the feedback I've gotten on these threads. I read that I gotta work on mixing, so I'll try to learn a bit more about that. All feedback is really appreciated. I'd give more feedback, but I'm just not good at talking about trap or rap, so my options are generally limited. I'm doing my best though!
There's a simplicity to the composition that really helps the more "engaged" parts come alive. Very nice.
This is so good. I'd probably look for a slightly bigger sound when you get to the chorus(?), but otherwise a really sweet track.
I adore this. There's a lot of complexity without getting overbearing or muddy. The vocals are interesting, I like the big mouth "wave" thing going on.
Sheesh. These guys are giving feedback and critique. Settle down, buddy.
the modulation on the panning gets kinda nauseating at first, but when that second synth pops in it helps. Pretty cool track tho, kinda mysterious and dreamy
Damn I always love your stuff dude, and this one is probably my favorite, it feels so ethereal. Even tho it is kind asbtract you can still figure out the tonal parts, and they're just beautiful. Great track m8 super recc
Listened to Rodion Comin, first thing I noticed is the old bluesy sound. Great work on that! Although the soloing guitar sounds like it has been put on top later, it has a more modern/cleaner sound than the rest of the instrumentation. I would prefer it to be lower in the mix.
Surprised me with the sound of play to win after rodion comin, but I liked it! Made me listen to more songs. It's completely different, but still the overall lofi sound and vocals bind all the songs nicely together.
Seen this posted for a couple of days now, first time I clicked on it. Don't know the videogame, but it does a certain nostalgic feel to it. first I was a bit put off by the digital sound, but it works. Great bassline, I think you could have kept it going for a bit longer though, or go back to it after the guitar outro.
The compositions are quite good, so no feedback on that! But why the midi sounds? Is it a very deliberate choice or just by lack of other production gear/programs? Your vocals are quite dominant in the mix and have some effects/layering. You might think of experimenting with effects and layering in the instruments as well to make it more as one whole. At times, with longer notes, your pitch is a wobbly, can't give you any singing tips though, but practice makes perfect. You're a good songwriter, but the rest needs some work. Keep on working! (hope I'm not too harsh)
Even though the rules say I should have ignored you as you haven't given any feedback I want to see if you return feedback when given! Too bad I can't really give any feedback as I seriously enjoyed it. Great track
>instrumental >math, post-rock >trumpet and guitars This is our first album and the first time we seriously recorded something in a studio so any feedback would be great to improve ourselves!
>Is it a very deliberate choice or just by lack of other production gear/programs? All my stuff is made on a laptop, so I'm a little limited but I'm work on trying some new stuff. I know those drums especially are pretty meh. The mixing stuff has already been noted, so I'll be paying close attention to it going forward. That vocal stuff will probably come with practice. This wasn't harsh at all, and it was pretty helpful. Thank you. Your stuff's great. As a brass player (though I'm on the lower end), it's nice to hear some metals and it adds a burst of color to that sound. Love the contrast between the heavier chords and the light, thin playing later in the track.

This is amazing, same Autechre timbre but with something quite personal on it.
>spacey cloud rap/trap beats >tape released a few days ago >hmu if u rap
i really dig this. the production is incredibly unique and the abrasiveness is complimented really well by the hazy rapping. you also have a really good sense of melody despite the noisiness. good shit.
this is some hard hitting stuff. i really enjoy the stream-of-consciousness lyrical style that almost feels like insane ramblings. your beat selection is also fantastic, you clearly have a good idea of what you're going for and which beats will compliment your voice and delivery.
this is really tight. the dynamic contrasts in these tunes feel really natural. the quiet sections compliment the louder ones and vice versa. the incorporation of horns is also used really tastefully and does a lot in terms of developing the song structure and adding to the atmosphere.
