this is super duper cute. and fun. i love your cover! obviously the singing isn't perfect, but that's probably the point and it adds charm.
this seems like the kind of thing i need to give my full attention. i'll make sure and download it later and listen on my way to work. very cool textures from what i've heard so far

A cool idea- hyped af. recommend to everyone here.
Romantic whispered vocals gave me goosebumps. You have a cool style that I can't really think of a comparable contemporary. at least not off the top of my head.
I like your guitar playing and songwriting, however your vocals just seem so close to being courageous and emotional. The chord changes and motif of your music is very at odds with your vocal style. I think you could really let loose and do something pretty astounding. It's almost like you're in an apartment and you don't want to be too loud. Have you ever heard of Chris Farren? You strike me as very similar singer/songwriter in style but you seen to handle more mature subject matter. He also imbibes and incredible sense of passion to his voice when he hits those big emotional chorus sections and I think it'd be really neat to hear you do something like that. Holding hands was probably my favorite track off the tape.
probably the most thorough and constructive critique i've gotten from anybody so far. thanks for listening. TWO big hugs for you.

already gave you a recc on another thread. Great stuff definitely worth a check
I like the composition but the production of the track feels so dry, and the drums are so low in the mix. The bass helps a lot when it comes in tho. The guitar solos are pretty fun too, but the tone is so distorted is a bit hard to understand. I feel like if it was the track was mastered a little bit better it would help a lot.
very good. very very good. kind of a joji that raps, even though joji does rap, and also, i hope you dont cringe at that comparison because it is a compliment

Thanks for listening, I always thought Orange Shoes was the most innocent and playful song on the album lyrically but either way thanks for listening.

Here is my Tolkien/Ambient/Soundtrack music project, I mainly draw inspiration and themes from Tolkien mythos in vein of bands projects like Summoning etc. you get the deal.
I am poorfag and I use shitty laptop that overheats when mixing the tracks together and still learning, this is first time I try to make music only using a computer and midi files.
My short Neo-Psych album. I play all the instruments except for the sampled drums, made videos to all songs and did all the artwork.
Check out track 5 "Teenage Bestsellers":

New music coming out this Summer, Fall, and Winter!
AVAILABLE TO STREAM OUR DISCOGRAPHY ON ALL MAJOR PLATFORMS!
If you are a Spotify user, please give us a follow and save some of our tunes! Spotify uses evil Al Gore Rhythms (algorithms) based on streams/follows/saves to determine who gets placed on playlists with massive reach. These playlists expand an artist's fan base and get their music heard by potentially thousands of listeners interested in similar music that would otherwise have no opportunity to hear it. You could help a fellow Yea Forumssician by taking 20 seconds or so to follow us and save some of our music on Spotify. Thanks :)

I appreciate the kind words galantron. I too grow frustrated with 2069s muddyness but it's this synth 9 pedal Ive been fucking with. Its unruly. Im a bass player way before a guitarist so I tend to hide behind the bass I think. Very constructive and helpful though- I appreciate it immensely.

Good music, but why... WHY DID YOU MAKE A MUSIC VIDEO comprised of FISH TANK VIDEOS?
I love my fish, and the song title is "Such Tiny Fish", so I thought it fit. I also don't have access to expensive studio lighting, a film crew, and a studio to film a traditional music video. Plus. music videos that just show the band playing the song are so generic and boring to me.
Perhaps you'd like our music video to "Roll Up The Window" more?
very nice guitar tone. calming. a great way to start a spring morning
this is really great. im gonna check out the rest of your albums when i get off of work. sad that it's the last album. hope ya dont quit music entirely cus you can write a catchy ass song man
i love this. it reminds me of the self titeld velvet underground record. will be returning to this soon. keep it up man
the synths and the drums sound amazing on your latest record. the snares especially sound great. gonna follow. great great stuff
this is really urgent and catchy. the only complaint i have is maybe less reverb on the drums. they sound kinda too distant but that's more of a personal production choice than a draw back on the music. i also like your vocal melodies. if you guys did a show in florida yall would kill it.
reminds me of john maus. the mix is great you dont get lost in the reverb which is a big issue i have with most artists in this genre. the guitars sound so so so smooth and rich. i love it
always gonna rec this. good emo music is hard to find in 2019
i love black metal and used to make it back when and holy shit this is terrifying. the vocals especially are unique to me. will def be revisiting this. this might be my favorite in this thread. truly amazing black metal

aesthetic album art and very well-designed songs.

Hey thanks for listening! and no don't worry I'm not quitting music I've been writing songs all year for a new band.
Also be warned that all of the Larksburg albums have their own sound more or less so you won't be getting more of the new album. Either way I'm still proud of a good amount of the material we've put out. Which by the way is actually well over 100 songs if you can imagine that. 2012-2019.
Here are the links to everything if anyone's interested
Giantlife the first Larksburg "album" written and recorded in a month, not my best work. Kind of weird mostly acoustic album.

This is the bandcamp of primarily old stuff pre 2015 EPs and really long demo/outtake compilations that I put on there for fun. That's where a lot of our "material" comes from to be honest. This bandcamp has songs from 2012 through 2018.
