youtube.com
little shoegazey but i love it
codeine is good too
There’s a new band from LA that opened up for Duster recently. They’re called Sprain and they’re fuckin great. Their set sounded more droney and doomgaze and they were playing around with shoegaze elements but their first cassette is essential slowcore
stop shilling your album faggot
The For Carnation

Thank you for this one
I've only heard their self-titled, gonna give this a try
Sort of Sonic Low Youth

This will always be my favourite slowcore album. I'd put it right up there with Down Colourful Hill.
Fuck with Cloakroom. Their stuff can be doomy-shoegazey but definitely a slowcore influence.
Also, if you haven’t listened to Duster just fucking do it.
sucks
Listen to Love, Claire's self titled album and cry yourself to fucking ash.
Cry Wolf and A Psychopath are literally both top 50 90s songs
wow she's ugly
That's not her, and the person in the pic isn't ugly, you should probably reduce your consumption of pornography if you think she is.
It’s a good album retard.
sir
Very based. Bedhead are one of the best bands of all time, and might be the most criminally underrated band of all time.
>not mentioning codeine
Cringe
I agree, it's pretty decent
My favorite Low album is The Great Destroyer. The other ones have their moments too, but, for me, this is the best.
I like Karate - Unsolved (people call it slowcore, right?)
I like some RHP, but all my favourite Kozelek stuff, the albums I really love very much, tend to have at as a secondary at best (Songs for a Blue Guitar, Ghosts of the Great Highway, Admiral Fell Promises, Perils From the Sea)
I don't mind me some Codeine...
Overall, it's better as secondary, pure slowcore usually doesn't do much for me
absolute fucking based
duster is so good
it is, shame that people ignore contemporary movement
I like it better than Strat
I do atm too
I love "on the air" lads
Is it true post-rock evolved out of slowcore?
They evolved simultaneosly, and you can say earliest post-rock (like Talk Talk themselves) is big influence but who cares
Neil Young is big fucking influence too, one of the main ones for sure
thx4rec
But talk talk are not post-rock nor did they influence the genre.
>Feeling the need to mention the slowcore band that everybody and their mom has already listened to
Cringe
You're fucking retarded, he literally only mentioned every well known slowcore band but left out codeine
Guys can you help me find this slowcore song I found on YouTube? I think the song was about being bullied or feeling uncomfortable at school in general. I think the thumbnail was an old picture of a circus elephant that looked like it was taken in the 20s, and the music video was similarly old footage of girls at a beach or something. I might be completely remembering that though.
I meant to say completely misremembering
Bark Psychosis is just a Talk Talk rip off and they were one of the best and most influential post-rock bands
underrated
youtube.com
Their first EP was recorded at the time Spirit of Eden was released, they didn't rip them off.
Lullaby from I Could Live In Hope feels like a post rock track
good night & good morning - narrowing type
actual brainlet
It’s already been mentioned in this thread dumbshit , why does it need to be said again? I’d say that you’re cringe
>I’d say that you’re cringe
xd got me there bro frfrfr
