i like pinkerton now. and I've seen weezer 6 times and own everything they did. i got pinkerton when it came out, this is just my experience with the record and all my boomer peers that were into the blue album. i was out of high school before pinkerton clicked for me and it came out when i was in 7th or 8th grade. punk rock phase got me accustomed to listening to 'bad sounding' music i guess. not bad sounding in an insulting way, but pinkerton is the in utero to the blue album's nevermind, not warm, tight and clean sounding
