i've posted about this once or twice before but i'll post it again
i used to run into this guy all the time who was a fervent john lennon defender. every time someone would even vaguely imply that john lennon beat his wife (a classic meme at this point), this guy would butt in and post something along the lines of "oh yeah did you know him personally????," he seemed to be taking genuine offense at the suggestion. i kept calling him a gay retard and he kept recognizing me whenever, and we had a little back and forth going as we would find each other every couple of months or so. i haven't seen his posts in years, so i can only assume he fucked off.
