It's pretty great. It was a lot better than I expected and I've been listening to it a lot. K.C. is amazing and has been stuck in my head since release.

AOTY easy. It's almost as good as Sleep Cycle

So bad. Sleep Cycle was the last good anco related release. Actually, meeting of the waters was, but still. His songwriting ability is completely gone, all he has now is wishy-washy sound effects, no actual substance

Are you sure you didn't listen to Eucalyptus instead by accident?

Fucking incredible. AOTYSF by a long shot. Honestly might be my favourite AnCo-related solo release. Maybe not as good as STGSTV but it might just edge out Person Pitch for me.

No, that album sucks too though. I guess CoHP is slightly better because Eucalyptus was just horrible, but most of the things I didn’t like about Eucalyptus were present in CoHP. Which is a shame because Avey’s songwriting used to be so damn good

It's so fucking good. The final couple minutes sound like they were ripped straight out of Feels-era anco. Eyes on Eyes is the other standout for me. The bassline is sick

Only listened once. It's okay. Was expecting more freak-folkiness and less anco.

I haven't listened tot heir previous stuff. I commented because this is a thread about the album, not the band.

It's an album for fans of the band. Perhaps the most-so of any other album any of them have released this decade in fact.

Well I didn't know, dude, I'm just going through shit I see released this year.

7.5/10, seeing it live made it better for me as well. Nostalgia in Lemonade, KC Young, Whats The Goodside?, Eyes on Eyes, and Saturdays (Again) are all great. The rest range from mediocre to good. Also the basslines live are fantastic.

i just saw him live on friday it was very nice. really shocking to see an anco live show with a regular electric bass but it sounded so nice
