I'm making an album based off of the original Spiderman video game for PS1. Here is my promotional single. Any feedback is appreciated, ty.

New music this Summer, Fall, and Winter!
AVAILABLE TO STREAM OUR DISCOGRAPHY ON ALL MAJOR PLATFORMS!
If you are a Spotify user, please give us a follow and save some of our tunes! Spotify uses evil Al Gore Rhythms (algorithms) based on streams/follows/saves to determine who gets placed on playlists with massive reach. These playlists expand an artist's fan base and get their music heard by potentially thousands of listeners interested in similar music that would otherwise have no opportunity to hear it. You could help a fellow Yea Forumssician by taking 20 seconds or so to follow us and save some of our music on Spotify. Thanks :)

Unequivocal Blue is super relaxing. The ambience reminds me of early Aphex but the snare sounds gated like an 80s snare.

Innovative idea that I look forward too seeing more of
Vocal cream of the crop in these threads. Really a wonderful voice.
An old track I recently went back to to tidy up. Not perfect, but I wanted to start posting more to get feedback

can i get some feedback on this badboy?
gonna leave some feedback on SC, tried to do it for the other thread but its kill now.
Cute and sweet. I enjoy your flow a lot more than your actually sung harmonies. Clever lyricism and a nice beat the guitar hiding in there really helps keep everything together.
I love when everything comes together at the end of the track like that. It's like you gave us all the hints and clues to come to that conclusion and you just sort of let us have it in a very satisfying way. The little vox samples are haunting but I like them.
whats the inspiration on this? like why spiderman on ps1?
I played the game a ton during my childhood. At first, I was looking ideas for tracks and I found a voice sample on there that was really good for a song. Then, I replayed the game, and the whole time I was thinking about how great the instrumentals and the voice acting is (as well as the game itself). And i was also thinking, damn all the sounds on here are related to music I already am making (ambient, electronic, experimental rock, sci fi atmosphere). So i thought it was a perfect fit for me to bring my own influences into it and make a full an album following the game.
Great track. Cool use of horns and I like the chord progression a lot a lot.
Here's a guitar part I recorded over it.

Wow I really like your voice and the string arrangement. The lyricism and everything. Something very TTNG/Modern baseball about this. I wish I could work with you holy shit, Great track but especially your voice. I love it.
This is still very gorgeous and after listening to it a few times and really ruminating on it I like it a lot more than first listen. there's much more to the ambient half of this track than meets the ear at first.
Great lines except the kickin it like kung fu panda, but I guess I laughed so that makes it a pretty good line. I like the really segmented line by line gaspy vibe. Only thing I would like is a more bassy mix on your voice, but that requires an expensive mic so I understand.
holy shit dude, did not expect that. and thats all improv?

I like your flow and lines but the idea of repeating "I fucking hate myself" 7 times in the first minute of the track is sort of cringe inducing. Outside of that you occasionally drift off the beat. When you're on it- you're sense of rhythm is great. When you aren't- it can be a little soupy. looking forward to more development and comfort. lots of potential. Tunisia is a much stronger track in my opinion.
New stuff! nice! The drifty piano parts compliment your vocals so well! all of those Little hints at that sort of "reed" like synth filling in the gaps you leave just builds a lot of suspense and flows very well from measure to measure. Great lyricism. Really needed that right now Mr.view. Glad to have you in these threads. Very mantra like. maybe a little prayer.
>Lemme sniff her bootyhole for a wad of cash
So this is what the brappp posters listen too? I actually really liked the choir type synth that pitch shifts up and up until it's a completely different sound. Outro is a clever reprise with great bongos. Intro is slightly abrasive for me, but that's a matter of taste more than quality. Overall a really interesting track with far more complicated structure than most. Dissonant piano chord ending is brave. I've thought of similar but always snip em off, good job sticking to your guns.
hey thanks btw.

The intro was originally just a satirical rap I made up while driving somewhere and thinking about how much i hate glam rap, so I was actually going for as ridiculously abrasive and stupid as possible heh

like i said last time sounds like blade its fire
i feel like the whole type beat thing sets you back and doesnt let you come up with your own producer style because you're chasing after guys that have the hype to get gunna and such on beats. Start naming your beats actual names because i know i get turned off when i see type beat
feel like the rapping comes in way too late on this beat other than that it is interesting
Great right hand playing on the acoustic and well produced. The lyrics hit me pretty hard, very well thought out little juxtapositions and simile. You're voice is fantastic particularly the Patrick Stump type vibrato around the two and a half minute mark onward. I got goosebumps. I enjoyed, thank you for posting.

Beat is percussive and I like how punchy it sounds. the high strings are really disorienting and work well with the snares and claps. I think you should either dial up the reverb on your voice into full abstract vox FX territory with more gutteral screams or dial it down and try and do a more inbound melodic flow. You're in limbo now and I feel like I'm always waiting for you to boil over or mellow out and neither ever comes. Definitely a taste thing, but just my thoughts.
Good to see you're still around. Gridline is nice; par for the course. Really sounds hardware based, like an analog tape runner that's been way over clocked. I love the circular tonal wooshing and "BoomKAH" effect when it's running a little slower, and the full screech of when you're in the higher bpms.
word ill think about that ive been letting my vocal chords rest after recording a noise rap record where i almost blew them out

Upbeat Punk rock/chip tune thang. The only tune I've done that I like. Said it before, but this did get play on regional radio, so it's not a total loss. The DJ said it was sort of an amalgamation of Green Day and Devo. Whether that's a good or bad thing...
soundcloud.com
Happy hardcore/trance track. Best way to describe this is that it's the kind of thing a warm-up DJ would play. That's probably being generous, but hey.

Just some bleepy electronic thing, I guess. Don't know what kind of genre of music this is.
Thanks! Have a nice day!

track you posted is cool but I really liked water bug actually. followed and liked on SC.
For a first track this is really cool! pretty interesting tonality in that bouncier slow synth. A little bit for cookie cutter, but you should be thrilled. For a first step this a huge leap.
Great sense of space and mixing. The buzzy sort of "grindy" metallic synths really seem to move across or over the listener. It's like I'm listening to a fleet pass overhead. Or in a submarine while huge eldritch monsters pass by too large and horrific to even care. Very spatially aware and unsettling. I enjoyed the listen but got kinda scared.
Restrained and driving. The rattle to the "snare" that sort of sounds like bones just completely carries this track on and on. Like a dessert expedition. I would love to hear a lead over this, either a rapper or a baritone saxophone. I tried playing guitar over it but I can't get it to sound meaty enough. Needs some one with a huge voice I think.
