I have a small library of local files for stuff that isn't on Spotify. If your phone is on the same internet connection as your laptop you can just download the files straight from Spotify.
It's a little extra work for those records but still easier than maintaining a full digital library when considering time saved not having to download each new record I want to listen to, not having to worry about storage and generally not having to worry about tags/metadata.
