im growing out of duster - stratosphere but haven't found any alternative
music for this feel
Im growing out of duster - stratosphere but haven't found any alternative
There was a chart of slowcore/shoegaze albums similar to Duster, I'll try and find it
duster - stratosphere 2
I have it already but nothing come close to stratosphere. I have listened to this album so much that im fed up from it rn
I like really love 1975 but its not that
Good. It's boring as fuck.
please post it user, I haven't grown out of it
in the mean time, here's an album
duster-stratosphere 2 Electric boogaloo
i know that feel, brotha. i'm actually taking a two month break from listening to stratosphere, just so i can listen to it again and have that magic feel. that's how much i love this fucking record lmao
but..m have you listened to their whole discography? like the "christmas dust ep", the "on the dodge" mini album? their live records? if not, go listen to that. if you already listened to everything they released, go check helvetia first records. also their "valium aggelein" side project. bedhead is good one for duster fans too.
there you go user
is that break working for you?
also i have listened to every single fucking song by them even their side projects. im the biggest dusterfag
bedhead is not for me. but bluetile lounge - lower case has been growing on me for a while now.
only two songs are good rest is meh
Listen to Calm and that other band they did after duster
Here you go user, I’ve had this in my camera roll forever and randomly found this thread. My favorite alternative is Swirlies lol. Enjoy!
Link to original picture if you want it in better quality: reddit.com
>unironically linking redd*t
nigger shut the fuck up about it
>he's mad a guy linked something extremely relevant to the topic at hand just because it's on b-b-b-buhhh LEDDITTT!!!
grow up you autistic retard
Is stratosphere known as the best of the genre?
I've listened to E, G and H and loved them but I couldn't stand strat.
Anyone have any recs from my opinions?
No, Stratosphere isn't known as the best, but it's up there. I'd say the best is considered to be Red House Painter's Down Colorful Hill.
Have you ever listened to the band Bedhead?
youtube.com
shut the fuck up its a shit chart
how much of a faggot you have to be to link unwound with duster
this is a way way better chart
It's a fine chart, dipshit. It specifically states Unwound is for if you want something like Duster but heavier. That Unwound album fits the bill. Stop caring about some retarded civil war between reddit and Yea Forums and try to have an actual discussion every once in a while.
No, I'll give them a listen later on though. Thanks
t. seething redd*tor
you have to go back faggot
Yeah I'm seething while actually talking to a guy in the thread about music meanwhile you're crying and shitting your diapers.
you have to go back faggot
i guess it's working, but mostly because i was getting a bit tired of stratosphere after obsessing with for a year and half. i already listened to pretty much everything they released, this week i've been bumpin some of that early helvetia.
also, never listened to bluetile, only a few tracks and sounded a lot like codeine. is it worth checking?
They're pretty good but I think a lot of people find them boring. I like them personally.
okay user then im going to take a break and wait for it
>never listened to bluetile
holy shit user lowercase is fucking brutal
you're missing some top-tier slow-core
for me they're better than codeine desu
Helvetia - Headless Machine of the Heart
Built to Spill - Perfect From Now On
C-Clamp - Meander +Return
Valium Aggelein - Hier Kommt Der Schwartze Mond
Bluetile Lounge is amazing
Low - Long Divison, Curtain hits the Cast, Songs for a Dead Pilot
Ida - I know about you
Aerial M - S/t
The Slacker(s) or Kitchen is pretty good lofi stufff
Seam - Are you driving me crazy?
Who else got the Duster boxset? I fell in love with the band all over again...
