WYWH

Wish You Were Here.

Easy, Animals. Floyd at their meanest, good shit.

The Wall

The only correct choice pictured. Have a cigar user.

>no atom heart mother

i aint picking shit you fucking pleb

Animals

I choose the table

I've only listened to DSOTM and WYWH and I'd have to go with the later easily. Don't see the hype around DSOTM honestly.

wish you were here

The ONLY good piece of work among/within those four is Any Colour You Like, so DSOTM I guess.

final cut

This. The Wall is basically everything I wish Bowie's 70 output sounded like.

WYWH. It's a no-brainer.

Neither. TPatGoD is the superior album

The song Interstellar Overdrive from Piper at the Gates of Dawn

meddle

WYWH > Animals > TDSOTM > Wall

based

Any Pink Floyd album up until Meddle is better than any of the album released after

piper

based

ive came to the scientific conclusion that the people that favor post syd pf are david bowie and dark prog lowlifes

>be pink floyd
>lead singer is a cool guy and he made the songs that gave the band the early success
>singer get's mega wierd, unable to perform live and it's harder every day to rehearse with him
>the band at this point is what could be the job for the other bandmates. The singer could get them jobless if he continues in this fashion
>harddecision.jpg
>Fuck that, we aren't risking our lives on a coin toss
>get singer out of band
>feel a bit guilty
>make tribute songs
>make a fucking tribute album
>never actually visit syd
>when he comes to visit, he's changed a lot and the band doesn't recognize him at first and then acts shocked
Feels pretty faggy to me tbqh. I mean I get the reaction, but if they cared about him as they want to show in "wish you were here" why the fuck didn't they visit them?

I think they felt guilty, which made them feel uncomfortable near him. But not visiting him at all was really a pussy move. Shitty friends, wouldn't recommend, 4/10

For me, its a momentary lapse of reason

Barrett was in treatment for suffering from severe psychosis. "Wish you were here" means "wish you become well again, we miss the real you", fucking dumbass.

>implying that when a friend suffers from mental problems (and syd didn't die mentally completely btw, since he was still able to make meaningful songs and art) it's ok to dispose of them
Wouldn't expect more from a faggy pink floyd fan

>never actually visit syd
u wot?
They helped him with his solo albums, you dumbass.

>madcap laughts and barrett - 1970
>Wish You Were Here - 1975
However
On 5 June 1975, on the eve of Pink Floyd's second US tour that year, Gilmour married his first wife, Ginger.[nb 2] That day, the band were completing the mix of "Shine On You Crazy Diamond"[nb 3] when an overweight man with shaven head and eyebrows entered carrying a plastic bag. Waters did not recognise him.[7] Gilmour presumed he was an EMI staff member.[21] Wright presumed he was a friend of Waters, but realised it was Barrett.[24] Mason also failed to recognise him and was "horrified" when Gilmour identified him.
They didn't see him often 1970-1975 did they?

However they did help record his albums, so I guess that's bonus points. But still they were writing about how they missed syd, but clearly didn't care to pay a visit in a long time (ofc they missed the way he was before, but that still sucks. You're going to be around me as long as I'm fun and enjoyable and leave me alone when I get health problems? They didn't visit him in a long time if they failed to reconize him)

Been listening to this lately, it's actually pretty good.
