>Kurt doesn't off himself
>Foo fighters bullshit ear cancer never forms
What a world that would be
Kurt doesn't off himself
that or Foo Fighters songs would've eventually ended up in Nirvana
Nirvana would’ve gravitated more towards noise rock they were getting at on In Utero
>Kurt doesn't off himself
>nirvana releases 2 more unbelievably shit albums then fades into irrelevance along with the rest if the grungers and ends up doing a nostalgia tour with bush and pearl jam, playing to genx burnouts at Indian casinos in flyover country
>fuckwits like op never canonize Kurt Cobain and make retarded threads on Yea Forums
What a world that would be
If Nirvana stuck around we probably wouldve never got Dave on Songs for the Deaf which wouldve sucked
False they would’ve headed in a folkier direction with Michael stipe. Kurt has already shown interest in folk in unplugged and that’s most likely the direction he would’ve headed
Sounds like you're just being a contrarian lad
Nirvana wouldve split up anyway they were never meant to be a long lasting band. They were incredibly formulaic and it’s obvious towards the end of his life and career that Kurt had hated the kind of music he was making and wanted to branch out artistically
>playing folk for an accoustic set
Wow you’re right, he was really into folk and not the noisy sound of the last studio album
>himself
This. Kurt wanted to be an "artist".
He probably offed himself because of that sound.
>Kurt has already shown interest in folk
He showed interest in other genres too and he was still crap at playing all of them
>named automatic for the people as one of his 50 favorite albums
>had a collaboration with michael stipe on the way only halted and stopped because he killed himself
>was friends and fans of REM and michael stipe
some songs on in utero are bit softer in tone too, like dumb, pennyroyal tea, serve the servants, and all apologize. Its very apparent he was going for and wanted to create a softer sound later in his career
I get the feeling he would have slipped into the background, maybe start his own label or something.
>named scratch acid, swans and butthole surfers in his 50
>collaborated with albini
I suppose arguments could be made for both, but I think in utero is primarily noise rock/post hardcore with some quieter songs and passages
This. Plus, he was really getting into Leadbelly and possibly other folkier/more traditional stuff. Would have been great to get a folk album from him and Stipe.
Also, this.
I come from another universe, what you know as Everlong and My Hero eventually made it to the final 2 Nirvana releases, just with different lyrics.
They split without touring their last release and Grohl still formed Foo Fighters.
Kurt was one of the first artists to get meetoo'd.
Dave had already written a bunch of demos and even showed them to Kurt before Kurt died. Kurt even liked them apparently. I can't totally fault him for that, Foo Fighters' first album is the only one worth listening to really
>Kurt doesn't eat lead.
>His mental faculties steadily decay due to his poor management of his heroin addiction.
>In 2016 he's a washed up has-been, taking the occasional pity duet with bruno Mars where he signs a couple of verses in the style of Teen Spirit.
>Foo Fighters were formed slightly later, but still exist.
>Fans wish he had done it before having to watch him doing Honda commercials.
>Kurt doesn't kill himself
>billy Corgan does
Hopefully before he inflicts Mellon Collie on everybody.
Most likely outcome desu, or he would have formed some sort of cringe supergroup with Zack de la Rocha and Moby.
Oh sweet jesus
kurt would transition in his 40s
you know it
Not entirely impossible
But kurt didn't off himself yet foo fighters formed :)
