because aside from the obvious Depeche Mode influence, its other major influences appear to be Skinny Puppy, Foetus, Coil, Einstürzende Neubauten, and Ministry?
It's industrial rock, and it's relatively light industrial rock compared to the founding bands of that genre. However, the industrial influence is pretty obvious and strong, especially in songs like Reptile.
