Sometimes I look at this and see only Engels, but at other times I see Marx too

WTF is this pretentious statement
elaborate a little

based

There's a humanoid form to the left of the big tower on the upper-left side of the photograph - it looks like an outline of a late 19th century man writing. To his right, you can make out a form with a bushy beard and a contemplatively raised hand supporting what might be a head.

All in all, it reminded me of a picture I saw once that depicted Marx and Engels writing together.
I thought this was some intentional statement about the tandem of the rise of turn-of-the-century industrial labor and the boom of the intellectual progression of workers rights.

Guess not though.

>I thought this was some intentional statement about the tandem of the rise of turn-of-the-century industrial labor and the boom of the intellectual progression of workers rights.
yeah thats what its Eugene smith was a leftist
there is also an environmental factor to it

Oh wow that’s really cool, I thought the original was this pic, didn’t realise they both came from that

It blows my mind that this album exists. I wish it were better tho, it’s both bands early in their careers and they’ve only gotten better. I wish they’d collab again, both bands past 3 albums have been great

is this get got

I believe it is the national grid

just some aborigine guy

this one's actually sick

damn i used to play this game with my dad all the time. i can still hear all the high pitched bleeps and clicks.

tracing is not fair use, it's plagiarism
surely you can't be this retarded

Even with all the work done over it?

>episode aired in 1993
>zoomer

Tracing can be plagiarism, not always
In this case the cover art seems transformative enough to my eye, I studied a little bit of copyright law and I don't think that any competent lawyer could loose this case
Maybe I'm underestimating a little the value of the original work in the cover but I don't think so, Cartoon Network has a better case for the use of that background

Which album is this?

Attached: 20190329_171845.jpg (1078x951, 509K)

Ween - Quebec

What is this?

Radiohead - Hail to the Thief

Attached: A1y8IvOibwL._SL1500_.jpg (1500x1500, 743K)

I know, I meant what is the original picture a picture of?

Los Angeles skyline

it's an album by radiohead

not positive but seems like the National Grid

If it was just a hand or a detail or something then I'd agree, but that's basically the entire image. When we're talking about full-on tracing, just changing colors and adding small shit on top is nowhere near as transformative as you think it is. I'm extremely confident that copyright laws would very much disagree with you.

Attached: thumb_1464031688594_1024.jpg (850x662, 238K)

What album? Dope painting

it's the streets of LA
Stanley Donwood based the the grid pattern on HTTT's cover off of a map of LA's streets and all the words are from signs and ads that he saw in the LA area

Neutral Milk Hotel - Ferris Wheel on Fire

Attached: LSDatSFG.png (768x1280, 1.28M)

Damn the original is much cooler than the ep cover

Why did you guys lie to me? I looked it up because I didn’t really think it looked like an aerial view of LA because it looked like giant buildings, not streets, and I find that is an aerial view of plastic greenhouses in Spain. Fuck you two!

Some janny deleted it last time

I might not be the expert, but that's the National Grid right there

here's hoping they do it again

James Ferraro - Prince of Rain, Bad Boy Flame

yes that's why i don't post my art on the internet until after i've been paid for it. people posting their stuff for 'exposure' are literal slave-laborers for big tech and undermine art as a whole. none of these social media sites would survive with out all of the free content generated by these poor saps.
