If it helps, I saw a friend go through schizophrenia 7 years ago and while it was difficult at first, and he uh changed his planned career path (intended on academia), he's doing very well for himself these days and enjoys life. The only time things got iffy in that timespan was one time where for whatever reason he decided it was a good idea to take mdma and 2cb.

In the beginning I was too paranoid to take them because I believed they were using them to mind control me but eventually I was strong enough to take them and I was eventually able to support myself on my own after a couple months. Just hang on, user.
