I'm sorry to say but I've not enjoyed my time with this track :( But here's why - There are so many small things that are bothering m. Like for example, between 0:46 and 0:58 where your vocals just nosedive and become out of tune. The painful way into the high notes does not succeed in a satisfying conclusion to me. Also, the mixing of both vocals and music seems tacked on rather than tailor made for each other. I assume you just put a vocal line on top of the already mixed music but that not might be the case. Additionally, the beat pattern and sample used is pretty weak and flat. Hearing so many great beat samples on these threads feels that you can use something a lot better, in my opinion. Also, all of these "yr" in the lyrics - is this necessary? You're not making a rap track as far as I'm concerned. The whole track feels a bit like in a loop but it lacks a few more elements into it to make it distinctive - maybe another line of a guitar, a synth perhaps. I think there is much to improve here, especially in the vocal department. You need to find your range and work with it, not try to be Yorke because he's voice sounds nice. You need to go you and I hope you'll get there somewhere soon! For now I'd advise you to practice. If it's the meme - good on you. You meme'd me into a comment.
>oh, fuck off Okay... There is a bit of out-of-tune singing in my ears, especially when you're trying to hold on to a note for a short period of time. But as it is - it's pretty simple but a nice solo guitar track. Would get more instrumentation on it but I think that wasn't the intention anyway. Keep up the good work!
I would love this if it was less noisy and more focused on the variety of techniques rather than pitch shifting everything to hell (which, arguably, is super nice on here). The length doesn't bother me all that much though. I really liked some time spend on it. Wishing all the best!

It's not a meme, so thanks for the feedback. I'll keep it in mind going forward.
>pop >alternative >rock >art rock >indie soundcloud.com/user-196382254/junebug most recent track, trying out different mixing techniques and my voice
Very solid sound, I like your use of space and your lead synth is pretty gloomy and emotional.
your second track is very beautiful. You have a good grasp of inner voice movements in harmony. The vocals could use a little less space imo and a bit less highs but over very good.
Oh, thank you for listening! Noisy production isn't your preference and that's cool. Brings an edge to the poppy composition, especially with the pitch-shifts every couple of seconds. I couldn't help it. I tried to emulate Clarence Clarity using default presets in whatever software I used (guess). Glad the length wasn't a turn off cuz in the desc., it's in compilation mode. If I were to condense the aesthetics into one 3-5 minute song then damn, that would be mad. At least you liked it! I made this when I was 17. Just curious how you could categorize these sounds... to me, it's all over the place & that's something I dig. Again, thanks! :-)

the use of the atrostophe is astonishing to say the least
What if we've already critiqued their same songs thru prev thread? Giving constructive criticism is pretty difficult for me to do since idk what could work better for someone. I'd rather listen then either recc it here or say a quick quip underneath their tracks. knows how to do it right & I appreciate his/her input. We're not that tho. He/she makes great music btw but that doesn't say anything worth mentioning. Eh.

Quick quips release dopamine bro, that said they're better off on soundcloud itself.
the sample hit just right at the start, the beat's suspenseful, those bell tones are tight af, chill drop, nice boom bap my dude. I would've maybe used a more rigid bassline to give it more push, but the instrumentation makes up for it it's a nice idea, the whole singing against glitches, but I feel it didn't really go anywhere in those minutes.
lol I googled it, not quite what I thought it meant.
