holy shit are you me? Elvis Costello is criminally underrated on here.
I think you really like black and red.
Mercury Rev - See You On The Other Side
+Arthur Russell, A Sunny Day in Glasgow
For Tracy Hyde - Film Bleu
how would you rate tlop in kanye's discog? its top 3 for me
++pink moon
+Since I Left You
+++Talk Talk
+Closer
+Danny Brown
-Young Thug
strangely enough i might recommend jazz from hell by frank zappa
check out crystal castles if you haven't already
true
joe jackson - i'm the man
ew
ew = excellent & wonderful
Hey dudes. I will rate/rec when I'm off work. 25 for the last week
hey all, i especially appreciate any cheesy romantic music recs (e.g. of Montreal - Cherry Peel)
good luck with the rest of the day
+Bjork, Beach Boys, Weezer, Black Flag
~Ween, Discovery
rec: LVL UP - Hoodwink'd
lol old Whitesnake, i remember listening to that album in high school, quite a cover
+Pavement, Nation of Ulysses
rec (sorry if i have): lowercase - Kill the Lights
I'm shit with making recs but I'll try my best
~Gorillaz, Yoshimi
Obvious ++ for Glow Pt. 2, My Aim Is True, and Pink Moon
Haven't listened to the actual sountrack as an album but + for Kiki
Will have to kook into whatever that Looping Forever album is -- I like the cover
Not recognizing Eduardo Gatti or Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, would you rec them very highly?
>Rec: Wooden Veil - s/t
++Arthur Russell
Can't say I've heard any of the others here. Any you'd especially recommend, besides the Kanye stuff?
>Rec: Since all I recognize besides Russell is hip-hop I'm reccing Mood - Doom which is majorly underrated hip-hop. Actually have it ULed on my mega if you want to try it:

Looking forward to listening to the new Avey Tare. tbqhwy I've never listened to an AnCo album or an album from any of their solo members but I heard bits of this one and I like the sound of it.
++Madcap Laughs, Dandelion Gum (going to listen to both of those next since you reminded me of them)
I'm sure I've heard and enjoyed that Strawberry Alarm Clock album so ++ for that to be safe
>Rec: Harumi - s/t
+++Spirit of Eden -- haven't heard Laughing Stock yet; only heard Eden the first time like 2 weeks ago
+Atrocity Exhibition
>Rec: Nnamdi Ogbonnaya - DROOL
++.5 Who Will Cut Our Hair, The Mollusk
-Helium -- Homeshake's just gotten worse with each release for me sadly
>Rec: Cibo Matto - Viva! La Woman
Fabulosos Calavera is a great album. Very eclectic, with hints of ska, jazz, hardcore, funk, tango, pretty much everything.
Eduardo Gatti is pretty decent chambor folk/ singer songwriter stuff, but it's better if you know spanish.
A E S T H E T I C chart
definitely give Laughing Stock a listen, I'd probably rate it over Spirit of Eden although both are great.
Golden Hour is such a good listen. Her voice is a bit thin but the production makes it work so good.
i'm guessing your favourite colour is yellow, not sure what to say about taste or what to recommend since i haven't listened to any of these albums
American Football if you haven't heard it, and if you like it, more midwest emo math rock
Tobin Sprout - Moonflower Plastic
XTC - English Settlement
have you heard Drive Like Jehu - Yank Drive?
you should probably avoid mucore and fantanocore for a while. What albums do you enjoy the most of those? Try to delve into more albums of that genre, or else Yea Forums will tear you apart, and less people will recc you because you don't have a specific taste other than popular albums
YoTS, iridescence, Kid A
That's some solid advice.
Listening to a lot of spacegaze type stuff.
+michelle branch, cocteau twins
Tamaryn - Cranekiss
for art rock, probably The Velvet Underground & Nico and then White Light / White Heat, i prefer the latter but TVUN is an essential listen
i can't say much for yots or iridescence though since i don't listen to a lot of hip hop anymore and i think they're the weakest album of both groups
Thanks
but in the end its just to lurk around mu/rym and develop a taste you like
>Tamaryn - Cranekiss
this rules thank you, will def listen in full
i only know KKB and Poppy on your chart but it looks like a fun chart
+emo/screamo/math rock
recs:
Zona Mexicana - 10"
I, Robot - Et Cetera
Having a hard time finding new things in the genres I like that doesn't sound generic. Recs greatly appreciated
too much of a newfag to recommend anything to others honestly
Gregor Samsa - Rest
Suis la lune - Riala
nice Baths, i still jam to that old stuff
Dick Hymen - Moon Gas
Jan and Dean - The Little Old Lady From Pasadena
Rodan - Rusty
You're probably depressed but I like your taste user.
Probably nothing, possibly everything - Pat the Bunny.
The Mountain Goats might be up your alley as well
Why do you only listen to females? What are you, sexist?
i'm listening to the Chameleons bc of your chart and I am loving it. thank you
Thank you so much-- I really do appreciate it, anons

Any recs?
Any comments?
Rise and fall is alright.
Listen to more stuff
np bro
have you heard Drop Nineteens' Mayfield demo? my fav shoegaze release lately, the recording quality makes you feel like you're in the room
Thanks! I'll check that out.
Any recs similar to Southpacific? I can't find anything similar to them. Kinda ambient/post-rock/gaze/space rock?
Got one cool band in there at least, Daitro. Some related (European screamo) bands:
Mihai Edrisch
Sed Non Satiata
Celeste (sludge metal vibe)
Raein
La Quiete
never heard Southpacific actually but that sounds rad. i don't know much spacey shoegaze
I'm sure you know Duster, i'm all about them lately and catching them this summer, excited :)
I'm having fun with this chart and I don't know anything on it, thanks.
You have to listen Laughing Stock, personally I prefer Spirit of Eden because I feel it is more consistent, the final song on Laughing Stock never has clicked, but that album has my favorite Talk Talk songs (new grass is amazing)
It's cold :(
All of you appreciate a certain shade of green.
Too ape brained to give recs so educate ty
they're a particular 80's post-punk sound i knew had to exist out there somewhere and for which i had been waiting. thank you
Jealous lol. Hope its a good show.
Ya def checkout southpacific. Constance is an amazing album
Pretty solid taste. You should try being more adventurous though.
elephunk has some nostalgic hits
is 'pump it' in it
I like that one
based chart
But I think Huey has a more bitter, cynical sense of humor
Nico - Desertshore
Iceage - New Brigade
are u new lol. not trying to be a dick or anything just wondering
Yeah.
Based Bloodhound poster
welcome :)
