Songs to listen to while reading James Joyce?

John Cage had an interesting piece built around the novel, but desu I usually just put on ambient/minimalist music when I read. Anything too jarring or complex just makes it hard to focus, but total silence is kind of distracting, so I usually just put on some Eno or Reich when reading Joyce.

Lucy in the sky with diamonds fucked me up pretty good on lsd, but make sure it's take 1

Amnesty was their best album though

Sure, I tried to listen to Pink Floy and Type 0 while high on LSD and it wasn't a fun time, on the other hand, I placed one of my childhood favorites CD's, those that you didn't listen for a couple of years, and the trip was on, some user said Sinatra or even Elvis, put something that triggers your happy place.

I don't know, I feel like songs I've expected to be bat shit amazing on acid have more than often let me down, so I've learned to not consciously plan any music beforehand but I've rather went on random youtube-videos and spotify-recs. either I've found a new artists to explore or ended up being amazed at random drum cover videos lol - either way the exploration becomes the most fun part of the trip
