like my third time reccin dis track. im not rlly sure what post trap even is but cant deny this song got alot of energy. not exactly my cup of tea but good on u. i'm excited to hear ur next project tho, u def got a style
Reminiscent of Milo and I love the vibe. Great understanding of juxtaposition and reflection. Good post. Such great deep tonality in your voice too. Cool line about enjoying your own company more than others and idealizing that.
Hard recomend if you enjoy guitar driven music. I like the tones you guys use a lot.
Very much sounding like some of these late 90s, early 2000s prog bands, maybe with a mix of light grunge on the guitars (am I heaing this correctly? :D ). Either way, I've enjoyed my session with it though it's totally not my cup of coffee sadly. But the production of this record is pretty stellar so hats off to you for that!
I would never guess I would listen to a music buy egg music guy...
The sound effects are really fun. Some really cool progressions. Switches up a lot which is fun too. Blends really well together
Oh I forgot to mention I have a repost account now. Don't wanna pay for soundcloud but love giving some reach to the groups I enjoy. soundcloud.com/adefenselessoldwoman
My band just released our debut, we released to Spotify Would love some feedback cause I’m proud of it >DONKNG >album: Familiar Structures >Post punk from Gainesville, FL
> bouncy guitar sample pop > some latin influences, folk influences, hip hop influences > weird shit
my recs:
>> soundcloud.com/l_a_s_t/blue-1 post-country. really haunting and sad. awesome vocals. listened to it a lot a long time ago when i was feeling mentally unstable. good music for walking at night.
I'm a huge prog fan! Yeah the tune was primarily influenced by Nirvana and Syd Barrett
Your first tune opens really quiet. I had to boost my volume and skip around to make sure it was going to play. The track is pretty serene. I listened through the first track. I'm gonna bookmark it and come back to it when my air conditioning isn't being as noisy. Only criticism is that I thought the end was a little abrupt, if it plays into the next track though that makes sense.
Upbeat. I def feel the punk in the composition. The tone seems kinda mathy but largely a I don't hear it as a large influence. I'd peg it as prog influenced
Not many problems with the track itself outside of one thing - I think vocals should be mixed better with the track, they feel a little bit departed and disjointed with the rest of the mix. Maybe applying some effects on them would make them join better with the song itself. But I've enjoyed my time with it, truly. This weird guitar pattern later on in the track was a nice treat.
Thanks user, hoping you'll enjoy the rest of it one day, even if it is so quiet :) >Only criticism is that I thought the end was a little abrupt, if it plays into the next track though that makes sense I've got to disappoint you here - never been good at having a satisfying finish to a song, never know how to do it properly :(

yeah i am not very good at mixing. i've been learning for years and years but i am still shit at it. i'll keep at it. thanks for listening

Hi there. This is just one of my few songs i just created. I'm very very new at this stuff. So i would REALLY appreciate it if u could check my profile. (wow i realy sound like one of those instagram normies)
wow very very chill and very pleasant to listen to! really enjoyed this one! great work man!
love love love the vocal layering in your music! im trying to encorporate more of that into my own tracks so its impressive to see others do it! great job!
Thank you so much for the genre clarification. I have such a hard time with tagging my own music and any feedback helps a ton. Prog-punk? Maybe? I still don't know what to put but agree math is wrong. It's just what I played before this so I feel like it stained my sound a little and it's probably just in my head.
I think it could be called prog punk. I have the exact same issue tagging my stuff. Like my single is psych grunge, but that has little to do with most my other tunes
Endings are hard. Right now I'm trying to improve at improv and closing a solo is a definite challenge for me

^my post, trying to get feedback
yo those guitar tones are insane i get a bodysnatchers vibe when the rhythm comes in (soundcloud link). with both bass and guitar
"folk-trap" i didnt understand until i listened lmao. I think i dig the vocal melodies/voice most of all, i know it's folk but i think drums would bring this much needed power
Nicholas Thompson
i dig the songwriting, but it feels over produced imo, but damn those melodies are infectious, good job user i like it. more like this?
