I'm well-versed in history. West Africans had wars between each others and would often held captives after the fighting. Then they would enslave or sell the captives they captured in the exchange of guns to the Europeans. Look up Dahomey, Oyo and Ashanti people, they were the main slave traders on the Atlantic Coast and often traded with people like the Dutch, Anglo-Saxon and Portuguese.
The Arab slave traders you are talking about worked mainly on the other side of the continent, in Eastern Africa. But even in Eastern Africa it was Africans like the Swahili and Somalis responsible for trading with the Arabs in the first place.
If your culture is so beautiful then why do you always copy Black American and Carribean culture. Look at Nigerian music, Davido and Wizkid are just copying dancehall while putting it under the "Afrobeats" label, and Fela Kuti was literally just copying James Brown.
