your vocals always astound me, and the songwriting is increasingly reminiscent of new wave classics like XTC, very exciting! I actually found myself daydreaming to this, very lulling and really put me in a medieval state of mind lol very sharp production, the overall vibe reminds me of bo-en, who I admire a hell of a lot
thanks very much. bo-en is absolutely one of the big influences for me, so that comparison is much appreciated :^)

good track this is bizarre but I like it
New album, our last and easily our best >Jangle pop >artsy indie/alt rock >power pop >For fans of Cap'n Jazz, Beat Happening, Pixies popspirit.bandcamp.com/album/brighter-plan
Tried responding earlier, but then the thread got archived. Good stuff man, enjoyed your vocals. I listened to a few songs, but I'm struggling to remember specific criticisms I had wrote out. Either way, good job.

Also I laughed at the bit about the thread getting archived. I swear to god I've been on this board for years and too many times I've been in some thread about Fugazi or some shit typing out some detailed post and when I hit "post" the thread has been archived. Additionally I feel like I'm the master at ending threads. A productive good music thread will be going on and then I'll post something and it will immediately die.
These guys are on another level, excited for their next release! My favorite songs are Doom Jazz and Going to vegas. Doom Jazz is a fun jazzy tune, at times reminds me of another soundclouder timothy p green (specifically his song all talk no action). Going to Vegas is almost mr bungle indie. Fun channel
Thanks for the rec
Really like the arrangement/samples at the beginning of I ain't gonna cry tonight

Considering it was a guitar hero mic it sounds pretty good. Can't wait till you get an upgrade man
>First wave Black Metal >Bathory Cover >Black Metal vocals
Came back last week with a cover from Bathory's excellent "A Fine Day to Die" (1988), I'm finishing the vocals for verse 2 & 3 right now so be sure to check it out.
This is a vocal demo mostly, all the instrumentation is made by VST. Looking for feedback on the mix + mastering.
>first ep >alternative hip hop if you wanna call it that >we’re in high school still help us pls
RECCS this is honestly amazing i love the groove you got going all through the track although i’d really love to hear more of those vocals.
even though you can kinda tell that you made it in a weekend it’s really not that bad. you could use much better sounds though and this would be an amazing track, with the sounds you used it kind’ve sounds amateurish? the mixing hides it well though

The particular sounds I used were designed pretty carefully and entirely intentionally. It's a deliberate stylistic choice and is a big part of my own style and voice. I get that it's not for everyone, but the sounds I used were not designed for lack of effort. Glad you like the track, though.

anyone would like help me with the artwork of my next release? :(
Reminds me of some of the lofi stuff I was into recording when I was younger. Spent a good 4 years straight listening to only Guided By Voices or other lofi. I enjoy the drum sound, and the guitar sound is something I haven't heard distorted like that in a minute. I actually really enjoy this. Hopefully one day you'll do a full length like this.
I get a Paul Simon vibe from here. Definitely dig the vocal intimacy.
Thank you! I dig your track as well. A full-length is the goal, might take a while though. I'm not the best at mixing my stuff yet so I'm gonna try to get better at that. Hopefully I'll have a new track out by the end of the month.
