are we just gonna keep posting this until he gets a sticky?
What's the deal with the no sticky thing? Do mods hate him or what
mods are gay trannies
FUCKING BUMP
THIS IS A MUSIC BOARD?!
i really don't think that Yea Forums even has mods anymore
scott "no sticky" walker
I'm having trouble coming to terms with the fact he died.
Rest in peace, 30 Century Man
reminder that everyone should watch 30 Century Man
we might as well
scottposting doesn't end until we get him a sticky
Yea Forums needs more fucking mods
rip legend
>it’s real
One of my all time favorites, Rest In Peace.
F
hey careful man... your thread might get deleted
At the rate the moderation team is working, pedos will start exchanging pizza on this board soon. WHICH IS A BAD THING. GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER JANNIES!
this isn't the drummer from X Japan, so who cares? I hope it never gets a sticky
>moderation team
>team
Eventually all the 'black people have tiny peepees' posts ended right? There's at least one poor sod having to deal with this shit.
I was definitely aware of his experimental music before, but after giving his 60s albums another listen today I never realized how amazing they art. Some of the most ambitious and cutting edge pop music of the decade.
i love yoshiki but what the fuck is the relevance here
Sticky Now!
BUMP FOR SCOTT!
what song do you think would've been in the sticky (if there was one (which there isn't (looking at you mods)))?
i'm thinking rhymes of goodbye
>i'm so le sad for this artist i didn't even know about xD here's a reference to his most popular song so you know how much I liked him!
i'm hearing a number guys
no mods no massas
scott's music has helped with hard times. i hope he rests peacefully.
in his house
God I was really hoping for one last album (Sundog?)
I saw it yesterday. He's a great guy and an amazing artist
Big F
fuck off with this mallgoth hack already
when actual geniuses died last year like Cecil Taylor or Mark Shelton none of you gave a fuck and this happens every single year
always hyping up the death of some shit eating, absolutely worthless (by the end of his career at the very least) banal asswipe just because he was the one reviewed by p4k
pull your head out of your rectum and start listening to actual music you fucking lowlife kitsch mongering scum
Everything you wrote and the way you wrote it is worthless, little kid.
For me its Scott 4

Autism
don't reply to me, art is not meant for people like you
Scott Walker is leagues above Cecil Taylor, who only has about two good records, and Manilla Road isn't even a good Metal band.
Here's your attention, contrarian faggot.
10/10 apartment. Would accommodate.
Posting in an EPIC bread
Kys pretentious retard.
Climate of Hunter is underrated, that is all.
F
thank you Scott for introducing me to Jacques Brel
r.i.p.
RIP In Peace sweet blonde prince
F, the fast and furious movies will never be the same again

>Mark Shelton an absolute genius compared to Scott Walker
lmfao my guy I also love Cecil Taylor and was distraught when he died but fuck me why are you bringing fucking Manilla Road of all bands
also Cecil Taylor had a fucking sticky, what do you mean "none of you gave a fuck"? If you're going to cite someone else who maybe would qualify for some declension of genius at least dignify yourself with a good fucking pick like Tomasz Stanko or, if you're willing with going a few years back, Pierre Boulez, whose deaths I don't think were mourned adequately at ALL on this board
F
Fucking hell
Tilt and The Drift are respectively amongst the greatest albums of their decade. Huge loss, rip Scott.
F
truly one of a kind. can't say I was a big fan of his more recent albums but I will miss him dearly and cherish his music forever
>Manilla Road isn't even a good Metal band.
Jesus, it finally happened. Huge loss. I was hoping for 1 more album before he croaked. Bish Bosch was fantastic. He still had it. RIP.
How come he died so young, or was he very old?
Sincere F. What an absolute genius.
It’s probably my favorite, either that or that Julian Cope curated compilation of original songs from his first four records. I love his first four albums but it’s a god tier comp, it’s a shame it’s out of print.
>Tomasz Stańko
quite good, but hardly a genius. france gall and xxxtentacion and hardy fox were better musicians, also I didn't come to this shitty ass place in few previous years lol
>Cecil Taylor, who only has about two good records
lmao nice one, he was one of the most vital minds in jazz history if anything and more like released just 2 bad records. honestly I'm not surprised that listener of bazinga core like scott walker would not understand someone actually rewriting the very definition of music. the work of mark shelton I am lucky to understand on the metaphysical level, his vision was incomparable to any other metal bands and art that he created is at its best brings spiritual rewards that someone like coltrane wanted to achieve his whole life but sadly never did in the end
>XXXTentacion was a better musician
Actually kill yourself even if you’re baiting
he was 76
STICKY
ok find me a single stańko track that goes as hard as that one where x sounds like he's spitting his teeth out, I'm waiting (no I'm not actually lol)
I was raised by this polish jazz shit btw, so I very likely know more about him than you. his mate zbigniew seifert deserves even more attention than him but he died 40 years ago, but didn't make himself a name that people hear and think they need to remember to seem cool
Seifert was never my thing as much as Stanko but I can respect Man of The Light (as it only really suffers production-wise) and his playing absolutely rips on the Stanko albums that he's on
>but didn't make himself a name that people hear and think they need to remember to seem cool
I mentioned Stanko because he died last year you fucking moron, not to "seem cool", that's such a weird reach lmfao. Literally everyone who knows anything about Polish jazz outside of Komeda will likely be aware of both, gatekeeping Seifert is ridiculous
Oh I can see me now
So cold and so alone
As the flowers slowly die
In my field of little bones
Oh I can see me now
I can see me at the end
Of this voyage that I'm on
Without a love without a friend
Now all this that I see
Is not what I deserve
They really have a nerve
To say these things to me
No girls just bread and water
And your money you must save
For there'll be nothing left for us
When you're dead and in your grave
bump
Listening to bish bosch now.
I knew about Scott for a while and liked his old hits like Nights in Cincinatti a lot but never listened to this.
It's actually good though, he took good care of his face, he barely sounds any different from when he was 20.
>Nights in Cincinatti
Lights of Cincinnati
just sayin
>france gall
all of her hit songs fore decades were written by men (gainsbourg, goldman, etc.) The few ones she wrote are b-sides or album fillers lol
you're a fuckin hack
Saddest death since Bowie.
F
It's never gonna happen
Big fat fucking F
Scott 2 for me
Literally who?
>browsing Yea Forums
>doesn’t know who Scott Walker was
Get out
With whom are you sharing
The sweet taste of summer?
My memories pursue you
Through puddles of rain
The rivers inside me still flow
To the sea of your hands
And if I close my eyes long enough
Will you happen to me again?
>It's raining today
>But once there was summer and you
>And dark little rooms
>And sleep in late afternoons
>Those moments descend
>On my window pane
mods fucked up
Bump for great justice. Keep Scottposting until the jannies capitulate.
Scott will haunts this board like Cruyff does on Yea Forums
Why do the news in my country have to mention David Bowie, Pulp and others in the epigraph.
Scott's worth was so so much more than being an influence. He kicks Bowie's ass.
Bowie idolized him
Based
I guess im Tilt pleb
>Cruyff
Literally who yuropoors don't deserve stickies on American chad boards, newfag.
Literally who?
You have to get the fuck out.
DO YOU HEAR

I never implied that she wrote anything in her golden years, her best stuff was wrote by gainsbourg, but she was first and foremost a great singer. did you lose any kind of conception of ability to put conceived ideas to life?
I wasn't talking about you, but his popularity in general. it's the same thing as with people in teh anglosphere excluding pfm as the one italian prog band that you should remember when they weren't nowhere near the best and even collaborated with fabrizio de andre... although stańko is probably as deserving praise as that guy probably, purple sun is great at the very least
also seifert got even better than man of the light I think, which is what makes him truly outstanding to me
