Who cares
Bring me the horizon, Brokencyde.
Based on what I remember from high school, 5 finger death punch, bring me the horizon, black veil brides, and my chemical romance.
Of those, only one band is legit good, and she does not like them for the right reasons.

sometimes i do get mad that rap is popular but then i remember how gay the myspace scene kid era was
I'll take the gay shit over the wannabe coal burning shit.
something with 19-year-old twinks with tattoos, piercings and colored hair, the music itself is irrelevant
This thread is really funny because it's filled with dudes who thought scene girls were cute but were too nervous to speak to them and in turn despised them.
Myka Relocate was the best band of that era and was great and post-hardcore for the most part was cool as shit and was probably the last real alternative movement we will ever see in a while. Unless the kids who were little brothers and sisters of these kids get tired of paying for a monthly splice membership and pick up instruments and acting like retards like we used to.

I actually dated a lot of scene girls back in the day. I love them. I'm hoping #20ninescene will work out and we get a new wave of scene girls.
The scene era was like 2003-2013
coon tunes or whatever chad listens to because it's been 10 years since that phase
>This thread is really funny because it's filled with dudes who thought scene girls were cute but were too nervous to speak to them and in turn despised them.
senpai I did speak to them. They were below me on the pecking order, as I did sports and band, both of which were very important at our school. But I still hung out with them because they were friends of friends, mostly with band geeks.
They were not attractive generally. One of my friends had a thing for them and would date one after another, and I genuinely tried to get along with them, but they were the most boring, shallow people on this planet, holy shit. And kinda gross too, a bunch were fujos who wore their powerlevel on their sleeves and creeped on any boy they found out was gay/bi.
They fetishized the idea of having a "gay boyfriend" who they could whore out to other hot guys and have crazy three ways with.
They generally smelled a bit bad and were slightly overweight. Their hair was greasy.
Maybe I just had the wrong scene girls at my school, or I missed the prime era or something, but my experience with them was that they were primarily losers who had been cut off from the well-adjusted girls and so decided to say "f-fuck you Veronica, I didn't want to be your friend anyway!" and create their own little counterculture cliques. They were not "cool".
The sound of my huge cock choking her throat
>They fetishized the idea of having a "gay boyfriend" who they could whore out to other hot guys and have crazy three ways with.
holy shit is this. i recall seeing guys on myspace making out and thought how fucking weird that shit was. thanks for the flashbacks as I was into this and skateboarding before i moved on to being an american apparel wearing "hipster" with v necks
No, there were little to no scene girls at the Christian school I went to. The only ones I saw were ones online. I always thought they were super cute, but never met any. Also, I was a little too young for the whole scene era. By the time I was 15, scene and emo girls were mostly gone. :(
How many of you hit sexual maturity right around when scene girls were a thing?
Kill yourself
I wasn't even in high school by 2013, I seriously think I was just getting in on that shit at the wrong time but it was fun.
I think a lot of the fun that came along with the scene thing was that there were disparate groups on the internet and that there was still a sense of deference to the meatspace and that the internet was an addition rather than a stage for individual ego ideals.
Weird time. Liked it a lot and I liked going to local shows. I still do, since I'm still young, but I'm sad they're dying off and even the rap shows are dead as shit.
why? Don't like people hating scene girls? Are a scene girl? Think my criticism is unfair? Think I'm a pussy?
idk, hard to take much away from a simple "kys"
i wish i was back in 2008
Kill yourself
actually, you are right, I shouldn't have said they were "slightly overweight", I should have said they all had eating disorders. Most of the ones I knew were a bit pudgy, but it seems like it was a coinflip overall as to whether they were fat or anorexic.
Valid criticism, my b for not stating that initially. ty for calling me on it.
I was in my 20s when these girls were coming out of the wood work and I dated/hooked up with a bunch of them. Before them it was vanilla pop-punk girls and mallgoth nu-metal girls.
A lot of them were into Brokencyde and crabcore metal. Although the music was shit they were by far some of the most attractive kinds of alternative girls. Metalhead girls were usually fat and punk girls were usually gross.
Looks like the average MCR fan
Technically speaking the average MCR fan would be a fat mexican.
bumping the thread with another beauty
So cute. ;_;

I just want to go back, friend.
Back to the age of scene girls. I miss them.
Why you had to do me like that man?
mindless self indulgence but thinks theyre serious
Lol me in 2008-2009. All I listened to was City and Colour

TAKE ME BACK
i still dress scene. a few of us are still around but i just wish there were more left to share this subculture. i wish it wasn't so dead and probably never coming back. even if does come back i'll probably be too old for the second wave just like i was too young for most of the first wave and i'll have missed both of them.
QT
billie, jumex, tekashi69, melanie martinez
whatever happened to all the scene girls, what did they become
sjw cunts
Bach, Handel
Those art hoes you see on instagram and tumblr. All former scene girls.
Sad, isn't it?
Nah those are different people. Scene girls from back in the day are like 26 years old now they just dress and look like adults
They all listen to shit like Lil peep and twentyonepilots now and think they're music taste has "matured".
The other anons basically nailed it. Some became the stereotypical "SJW" types. Others became the alt-normie, hipster types - "art hoes". Then most of the rest simply grew up.
