it's kind of hard to describe but i would peg it as hip-hop infused sample-based modern video game music. i really look up to this guy's art. the best musician i have ever found on soundcloud.

Came back last week with a cover from Bathory's excellent "A Fine Day to Die" (1988), I'm finishing the vocals for verse 2 & 3 right now so be sure to check it out.
This is a vocal demo mostly, all the instrumentation is made by VST. Looking for feedback on the mix + mastering.
take ur pick xx

Nah man, it's all good. I run my SC to emulate my sound with VST. I want to found a band with this and go from there. My vocal technique has improved over the years, and lyrics are ready for Descent into Madness.
Anyone wanna hear a w.i.p Ep?
No band name or album name yet that much of a work in progress

Still pretty rough. Idk, I mever thought your musics issue was a production value issue. More of a direct ripping off your inspirations and handling each track for a seemingly very short amount of time.
Hard reccomend. Really hits the spot.
Got a new track, in need of some feedback!

sound super clean and chill. would love to see where it goes!
a lot of this sound identical to grunge tracks ive heard. like "best friend" is very similar to mollys lips but maybe with less going on. i dont want to be too harsh but maybe try to focus more heavily on songwriting and being more confident with your vocals and playing.

I've been very into Feels by Animal Collective, and I was constantly reminded of Turn into Something while working on this track. I think it gave me the confidence to be a bit sillier with my vocals.
Sanity Defamed remains incredible
This remains great too.
It's kinda weird to see how many people post their same songs over and over. I try to only post when I've made something new.

Track 4 was inspired by this Daniel Johnston song but doesn't really contain any musical references or anything. I just wrote it after listening to the song. I'd been a DJ fan for years but had a download of the album Don't Be Scared without the title track! So I found it years after being familiar with the album and loved the song so I wrote the fourth song on this album as a response to it.

Thanks for listening, and thanks again to the people who said they liked the album in that other thread.
New song :)
But check also out the song "In Memory of" if you want.
