Got any suggestions Yea Forums?
Folk and Rock are my favorite music genres
pink moon by nick drake the best album to exist in all of existance
You don’t like Rubber Soul (Capitol/US version)?
I love the Beatles, but I just think Rubber Soul is good, but far from my favorite of theirs. I'd hesitate to say that I "love" it though. I think it doesn't really mature all too much from their Help! album, which I still like.
I've listened to every Nick Drake album and enjoy his work. Though I'd hesitate to say that Pink Moon is a rock album.
shameless self bump.
Does Ghosts of the Great Highway count?
apes of the state is okay, punk folk though
I don't really listen to Slowcore, but I'll check it out anyways.
It's less than half an hour so I'll check it out.

If you want actual folk rock I dunno. Restlessness Blues maybe. If you want rock mixed with folk though, folk prog is once of the best genres ever. Selling England by the Pound.
Are they more than a one hit wonder?
have you listened to Divorce Lawyers I Shaved My Head?
not sure how C93 is rock but they're a great band and OP should give a listen

I know, I think I have mild ADD and have problems listening to long albums. I like Highway 61 and have been meaning to listen to BoB for a while now. But it's length keeps deterring me.
Listening to it right now and am pleasantly surprised as I don't really like Punk.
i think Jorge Ben's combined brazilian folk-y music with some rock elements pretty interestingly
