Reminder that this is the logical conclusion to shoegaze.

i've never really liked lilys
i like the more noisy stuff like

Call me crazy, but I prefer these to MBV, and I wish people would stop comparing them. Of course, I love MBV, A LOT, but Ringo have a more pop sensibility and the songs are easier to listen to as songs. Loveless is one of my favourite albums of all time, so I'm not knocking it, but I view it as a work of art, by Kevin Shields. Where as Ringo are a band. And they're are of my time/generation, so I can enjoy them in the now, and see them develop.

The verses in There's No Such Thing As Black Orchids is pop eargasm, and then when the guitar picking starts in the chorus it's ''balls emptying so much the only thing that is left in them are air'', then after the second chorus when the guitar noise comes in...I could literally masturbate myself to death to that song.

And speaking of eargasms...

The transition from Threnody to Mesmerize is so fucking good. This whole EP (their whole dicography) is just so insanely good.

Have you heard Blind Mr. Jones? Very underrated shoegaze (don't pay attention to the atrocious album cover.).

Or Starflyer 59 - Silver (must listen on loud volume)?

I love the album cover tho

Yeah well, it doesn't really scream shoegaze, does it? If I would've seen it in a record store in the early 90's my firts guess would've been grunge/alternative rock.

Love Blind Mr. Jones. Found them by accident when i had just discoverd shoegaze. Probably my favorite shoegaze band after slowdive

That flute just living in its own life

It's a shame these guys never get the recognition they deserve. 10/10 shoegaze
