Good evening and good morning! I hope you have/had a fine time today :) Thanks to all that have DL'd and heard my music recently! Highly appreciate this! Working on some new stuff at the moment, but it's quite hard to maintain a good level at times :(
This is a very nice funky track user! Gets a mood done for some boops and morning sounds right, especially at summertime :) Keep it up!
I don't know where the 'black metal' tag comes from to my ears the bass mixing is obnoxiously high. Would like to hear this track without so much down in the mix :(
A shame really. Though there was something more in there, just mixed so heavily on the low-end. Either way, I encourage you to maybe work on this track a little more then, tweak and tinker in in the mixing, maybe using more samples? Experiment a little bit, and mostly - have some good fun, there might be some foundations for something better there :)
grabbing weed once my dealer is up ill follow you in the meantime keep up the good work. love your stuff

Would definitely work on choosing better quality and better sounding drum samples, maybe approach it with a little less noise but otherwise it's a very enjoyable listen
Heard "Ento" from Ascerton. I don't have much to say about it either that it's a pretty nice drone overall :) Not many complans outside of the preference in maybe using less "rhythmic" synth (i.e. the kind that wouldn't produce a feeling of rhythm while playing) but otherwise - great stuff. Will be sure to listen to your release as a whole soon!
Well, it's a hip-hop track, I'll give you that. I've heard it but I'm not sure I'm the right person to give you feedback here, sorry :(
the beat is cool, like the bass, structurally there could be choruses. there's some dynamic production (layers coming in and out), at the moment it seems a little binary, could be more variations with what's in or out more often? a beat like really doe by Danny brownwould be a good example of that

thanks! glad you like ento! yeah i've had people say the rhythmic element in the first half is somewhat unsettling, but it's basically the whole concept for the piece (low pitches modulating slowly scaled to high pitches modulating quickly)
>yeah i've had people say the rhythmic element in the first half is somewhat unsettling Well, to me is less unsettling and more odd in this piece, doesn't fit for me, but if others liked it better than I'm fine with that :) Keep up the good work
i really like the guitar at the beginning but it think the vocals come in a little bit too harsh to the ear, maybe some reverb could fix that, i like how the drums are dirty but not too much, would listen again.
my god this is underrated aff, the only shit thing about this is it's too fucking short maaan, i messaged you.
first of all this artwork is a masterpiece. loving the music too, i've been into glitch hop for a while now and honestly your music is really up there, the quality is fantastic and it's really catchy, would def listen again.
stop calling it punk. you posted it on the punk thread last night and we all told you it wasnt punk and you admitted you were just attaching the adjective "punk" for "aesthetic reasons," which is the absolute antithesis of what punk is about. call it diy if you have to, but stop thinking that calling something "punk" and taking a picture of your dirty sneakers gives you any legitimacy.
stop doing thing for "aesthetic reasons." it's fake as fuck user.
Logan Diaz
I take back what i said in that thread. Harsh comments from punk purists had me second guessing myself. But punk music is a very heavy influence of mine and I believe my music has punk elements in it to some degree.
I think I'd be doing myself a disservice to not call it punk for aesthitical purposes, shilling purposes, and musical purposes all together. Because it has punk elements. Its not punk, but punk related.
I genuinely appreciate you trying to stop me from being fake though, but the music I plan on making is gonna be made for a newer generation, one much less into punk music than yourself and posters in /punk/. I hope you have a good day user :D And if you still think im fake for it well thats ok with me. Different strokes for different folks.

it's got nothing to do with "purism" it's got to do with deliberately misrepresenting yourself for the thrill of attaching a tag you find attractive and fashionable. that's pretty lame.
but hey, suit yourself. i literally i can't stop you, but i can voice my disagreement,.

Spotify uses evil Al Gore Rhythms (algorithms) based on streams/follows/saves to determine who gets placed on playlists with massive reach. After 2 years of musical hiatus, I have decided to come back and record myself. I worked on improving my textures on BM vocals (high pitched screams), I'm paying tribute to First wave Black Metal pioneer Bathory with his best track : "A Fine Day to Die" (1988).
Instrumentation is full VST only, this is mostly a vocal demo. I have recorded parts of the remaining 2 verses this afternoon; final mix coming soon!
