This was quite an intense experience though I don't get this new genre thing - sounds a bit like a hyped up hip-hop beats to me. I'm seconding the request to explain this a bit more. Keep up the good work! :)
I really like this though I think at times, especially on 200219 some of the samples go a bit too high in the mix and sound ear-piercingly on louder volumes (maybe the peak a bit too much?). Either way - good work, though I'm not too much of a fan of the genre I've enjoyed my time with a few of your tracks :)
Kinda made me think a little of space oddity. A little less spacey and more dreamy though if that makes sense. For constructive crit I think the biggest improvement to make would just be a mic upgrade.
Still jiving on your stuff m8! Lofi fun, good songwriting too. Lots of room for production improvement but idunno, I think that might ruin it, don't change a thing. That distorted rhythm guitar does all the heavy lifting and it just works.
Almost kinda reminds me of some of the music in classic Rare games like DKC and Killer Instinct. Good sound design and just a little quirky. Sidechain is sucking like a vacuum but still pretty subtle. +10 personality points in your music, but it seems like some of the ideas aren't really complete.
I like this kind of digital trash. It's music to my scabby cochlea.
Ooooh a gentle touch. Pretty, evocative. Not be too feely but this reminds me so much of the last summer before I moved away from home and my childhood woods to live in the city. THIS is exactly what it was like growing up in the forest and being 17 before I really even walked on a sidewalk. Almost a hint of Harold Budd except much more open sounding.
That glassy resonating flutey pad is fucking perfect. Really interesting, and nice to see you mix your vocals with some real confidence. Every word is right there in the spotlight. √
Hard for me to tell actually. Interesting remix but makes me want to just listen to the original. I'm not good at judging remixes bro :\
>youtube.com/mjcrecordingsaudio Thank you for kind words, glad that it invoked some nostalgia for a moment :) Wow, now I NEED some of these field recordings in my music, ASAP! Such lovely sounds captured on here, I'm jealous :)
Heard the single Myopic and it's pretty darn rad. Had this great retrovibe and this droney guitar on top of it - simply awesome. Will get the whole release soon :)
Adam Morris
>Such lovely sounds Thanks friend. It really is a passion of mine. I'm kind of into photography as well but tbqh nothing really captures a place the way carefully crafted sound recordings do. I feel like a photo can snap a nice looking meal on a plate, but a sound recording is, in a way, more like being able to smell the kitchen. Keep up the good work! I'm not on bandcamp so I can't add you but if you're on youtube or soundcloud at all look me up!
decent but i would say more oversaturated, feels a bit mashed on songs like 待機, some things don't resonate with me like the use of hihats (sure they're good but i feel like they're overused)
and a great artist nevertheless, could listen to this for ages
Hunter Fisher
Holy shit thanks so much! I'm currently trying to gather up enough material for an album, hoping it can be released before fall this year. New singles are gonna be coming sporadically. Until then I'm just gonna keep working on new stuff and shilling this track.
Reccing this from memory Gonna be listening to these later when I'm out of class I can't believe I haven't listened more to this even though you're in every thread.
Josiah Cooper
Got a new track!
First part is ambient and goes into quite a beat focused piece. Last part might still need some work, but overall it's finished. Hope you enjoy!
Could easily be an indie rock ballad if you had a better setup Your vocals remind me of Robert Smith from The Cure You should get a better microphone And just a personal note to kinda humanize the drums a bit? Idk it just sounds really synthesised to me but if that's what you're going for that's fine. Other than that keep it up and branch out my dude.
Ian Carter
Thank you! The most common constructive criticism I get is the mic and my vocals (mixing as well).
Right now though I’m a student living on government grants and my parents food so I’m trying to spend as little money as possible. A mic could be a great investment but for now I’d rather spend the money on a clip-on tuner since mine broke and repairing my bass (there is none on this track). My main focus right now is just getting as many of the ideas in my head recorded and published. Hopefully in the future I can get a more high-quality setup.
I actually haven’t listened that much to The Cure, I know kent were influenced a lot by them and I ADORE kent. I listened to Pornography once on a loud car trip so I probably haven’t done it the justice it deserves.

That's some great stuff. How long do you produce? And what's your workflow?
After 2 years of musical hiatus, I have decided to come back and record myself. I worked on improving my textures on BM vocals (high pitched screams), I'm paying tribute to First wave Black Metal pioneer Bathory with his best track : "A Fine Day to Die" (1988).
Instrumentation is full VST only, this is mostly a vocal demo.

elmauri.bandcamp.com/track/si-yo-fuera-un-h-roe >Rock >Vst >Power Metal I guess I'm actually on the "Rock" section of bandcamp, I don't know if I should move to the "Metal" Any advice on how to get more visits on bandcamp?
Cool stuff, that bass tone is sick the snare and the cymbals give it a lot of energy. It is really harsh and angry, but I think you could turn up the volume for the voice and the kick something like a sidechain compression from the kick to the synth. "Aural Terror Tactics" is fantastic, It's heavy as fuck, I like how it the synth breathes on the snare hits and fall heavy on the kicks
"Sick pt. 3" I really liked the song and the voice is great. The only thing that I didn't quite like is that guitar melody you do on 0:15 that you repeat 4 times, I would have liked it more if you were to make some minimal changes to some repetitions of it On "Contents Unclear" again, your voice is very good, specially on the first verse where it has some subtle vibrato. The song progresses beautifully
Not shilling a soundcloud here just want to ask someone: Anyone knows how much money would one make making live dj sets for a small audience? I released music in the past, on aphex twin's record label, I wonder if I released a new album anyone would show up and I could do that for a living or it's a waste of time? I never bothered making a career out of it it was a one time thing. I thought there was no point because it barely pays worth my time but I never asked actually how much one would make. I guess my "cache" is similar to that Dave Monolith guy which is no longer around (he had cool tunes too bad). It would be laptop dj set for me tho. I just don't how the fuck it would work, how to contact people to make it happen? or I shouldn't even bother?
Our YT channel, we're trying to make our way there.
We have some covers, and our music is more of a.. alt rock, prog rock thingie.
Listened to Never Knew. Liked the drums and percussions, but I felt the song could use some more harmonic/melodic content, and more harmonic texture. Really dig the second part though, even though it still lacks harmonic elements. Checked Listened to Flowers. Intro too long for my tastes, loved the chord progression and overall production.
listened to this and by some miracle cover. good luck with your original music. good vibes
Andrew Martin
yo dude i HEAVY fuck with this i really like the unique structure and way you deliver/flow your lyrics. i think you could maybe have a bit more diverse instrumentation but that might fuck with the feel desu
Kayden Reed
i fuck with the instrumentation in 040319 and 280219 loops i know it's loops but some more fills to break up the monotony would help a lot you could prob try to collab with some vocalists to hop on one of these tracks desu good stuff though bro i'd like to hear more from you!
John Brooks
this is a new level of glitch/industrial
hurts my head but this shit unique as fuck
GET FIX is sick as all fuck and has tons of potential
you should really see what you can do with this sound and push it even further i'd fuckin love to see a rapper jump on this type of instrumental
all in all though you got a sick ass "new genre" thing, keep it up and maybe try to flesh out these ideas and you'll have some groundbreaking shit
This one really means a lot to me. It was a raw ass recording session first time I met dude, we shot ketamine then recorded 8 songs on 600 dollar mics. He played and sang/rapped everything at the same time.
honestly, just suck them into the mix some more with some side chain and it shouldnt be a problem. it might not even be an issue to everyone, maybe just me.
I do appreciate it, I don't use sidechain or anything so I know they are mad harsh, if you get a chance, my best song in my opinion is Hey Dude Nice Shirt, I would be mad thankful if you gave me some advice on that
>cloud rap, emo rap, trap rap soundcloud.com/lilkpin lilkpin.bandcamp.com/ on all streaming services would appreciate plays on those dropping an ep with lil kava who i met on rym very soon hmu if u wanna collab rappers producers >will return feedback on soundcloud recs
hey this is really good. all the instruments have great interaction smooth and tasty. i agree with the other user that the clap roll is too prevalent i like what you are going for but the bass is pretty flatulent ifyanowatimsayin. sick sounds
other version was clipping - added some of the rougher parts in the end just to give you an idea of the overall direction its going in - much more is written but its too rough
>soundcloud.com/ThomMoot/Delirium good and trippy, saw someone comment about Tool vibes, inclined to agree, would like for that sorta ambient-ish synth to be a little more clean or maybe add a second one with a more melodic overtone, but otherwise that synth and the whole song sounds great
it reads basically pendulum, definitely is basically pendulum, to the point of mayyyybe being too derivative, work on that. Still, sounds incredible, definitely a shitload of potential here, so far none of it wasted. Maybe re-listen to the first few Knife Party albums to keep yourself in the era while pushing yourself to be more modern. Or, as a personal recommendation, listen to The Young Punx, just because I do really like that band, and they have some good DnB songs that might inspire some different influence.
>iolc.bandcamp.com/album/avoid-the-brain I can definitely hear the genre-bending, and I feel like all the right ideas are there and it's beautifully composed, but there's something missing, maybe needs a fatter beat or catchier lyrics? Otherwise sounds pretty well-produced, keep striving for whatever you're striving for, you'll get there.
Me n the gangs rap. We comin out KC, half the beats are self produced and we welcome all input. We even made a music video: m.youtube.com/watch?v=TLtssh_bkSg
Luke Wood
Thanks for the feedback. I actually don't listen to tool at all haha. There was no synth in that song, I assume you mean the "noise solo" sections?
Elijah Long
I really like the mixing and the general energy on this, but I feel like the drums and the guitars are holding you down. The only thing I would strongly suggest you is using your guitar MIDI tracks with Shreddage 2 or 3 (Electric Guitar Emulation) and drum tracks on Superior Drummer 2.0 or 3.
love it, dude. the saturation effects at 2:16, dunno you did it, sounds great. good job, user love everything about this track, except the intro, it's a bit too long. other than that, it's great sounds very professional. but I think it's kind of boring. and there's too much reverb on the vocals.
