>I really want to learn to do cinematography that we
start shooting film. do you even own a film camera?

Hitchcock hated realism and logic in movies. He also lamented the arrival of the talkie era because filmmakers would cease to tell stories visually a la the silent era and exposit using character narration. Truly the most based director of his time.

Fallen Angels > Chunking Express

This is so fucking good I'm literally in tears laughing at how incredible this sounds - the bongos, the maracas, the snapping it's all so good

I'll never understand how people like this massive dissapointment of a flick. The first part was so good and then it turned into le quirky reddit romance that doesn't even make sense. Almost as bad as amélie

if you expected a coherent plot then you've completely missed the point

I at least expected that short-hair lady's behavior to be similar to that of a human being, even if the plot led to nowhere. Everything she did was so fucking autistic, and the policeman had no natural reason to be interested in her

You literally have autism.

>and the policeman had no natural reason to be interested in her
he fell in love.

you have big autism, pal.

oh wait i confused the stories lmao. no it doesnt make sense really, but take or leave it.
