Listen to Noise Rock for starters
listen to the better swans album
Lightning bolt
Already did, amazing
ty
No problem bro
>now wave
Try this
>Essential Now Wave
>Doesn't include U.S. Maple - Long Hair in Three Stages
Ridiculous
yeah i don't know what that person who made the chart meant, but all of those albums are pretty solid so what ever
Now Wave is a real thing, guys. A wave of post-hardcore/art-punk in the late mid to late 90s that took influence mainly from the original No Wave scene
>hurr durr i dun c 1 partikular al bum,so i gues i gotta thro da whol churt awayzz lollll
Pretty much
It's that good of an album
what sets it apart from No Wave? What does it sound like?
Jazzier, more angular clean stabby guitar rather than crunching atonal noise. Takes more influence from stuff like James Chance rather than stuff like Teenage Jesus.
>YAAAAAAYYYY
try this
Hmm, sounds cool user, thanks for the explanation
Why Hell Songs over S/T
Nice, the big chunk of these are scaruffi-approved.
5th row, don't forget to give your eyes a break every now and then user!
idk, ask the person who made it, both are great albums either way, but it would make sense to include S/T considering its heavy as FUCK, while Hell Songs is just crazier
Sheeeit, I scanned that chart three times before I posted too
Are you blind or just straight retarded?
It's fucking there you dip
OP that chart is pretty much where it's at. Listen to it at any order that you like, but I personally recommend starting with Dinosaur Jr., Big Black, Jesus Lizard, CopShootCop and Daughters. Have a fun listening experience!
Just keep listening. And if you haven't already, listen to pic related.
I also recommend Lightning Bolt.
steve albini turns me on
Lightning Bolt is based af, i hope to god their shit gets put back on Spotify soon
