Obvious Rush and Genesis shoutout.
Besides that: If, Caravan, Fields, Marillion and Fripp + Eno
Amen.

Try Swedish prog rock scene:
Opeth, Landberk, Morte Macabre, Anekdoten
Polish prog is also good:
Marek Grechuta, Riverside
Older good prog bands are:
King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Camel, Eloy, Sweet Smoke, Jean Luc Ponty,ELP,Mike Oldfield (early albums),Frumpy,Yes, early Pat Metheny's music

sounds like people jamming over the final fantasy song
Gryphon is one of my favourite bands, too bad that they’re not that well known. Check them out if you’re into renaissance music

cringy shit that intends to be innovative and fails miserably
This is my favorite Tull song probably.
This is incredible. Thanks for sharing. Got more of this?
based
Thats Yes and all the other """prog""" which is the same album over and over. Experimentation should be the focus, not pointless manierism
Am fucking normie, but Yes have an essential string of studio albums from 70'-76 that are all gr8 and provide a sizeable backbone for the entire genre.
Would recommend Relayer highly, but Close to the Edge is mandatory listening.

Based Nektar poster.
Does anyone know of any albums like The Death Defying Unicorn? I've tried some of Motorpsycho's other albums, but none of them have the same feel to them.
“Prog” is like 99% meandering wank. If I want music with so-called advanced tendencies I’ll listen to classical or jazz. If I want to rock out I’ll listen to Wooly Bully.
If you like it, check out Todd Rundgren's mid-period solo work (A Wizard, A True Star, Todd, Initiation: more psych-pop but the same sound and arrangements) and the first three Utopia albums.
What if I just want to listen to Jon Anderson's beautiful voice?
or, you can not be a colossal faggot and listen to all four things like regular people
