The concept's neat but I think the mixing could be done much better. Some high ends are just painful and choppy. But as a proof of concept for something potentially recorded with real instruments - neat! Keep it up!

The ear-piercing sound at the beginning - man, don't do it :( The rest seems pretty okay though, again, I have some gripe against trap-ish beats so I can't be no fun of that music. But keep going!

Neat critique my G. I agree that the mixing could've required more sharpening, even for midi. They're musical sketches for potential live performances. All of these compositions came from the piano first then had to grid them on my pc. What's your SC?

Heard "The Way It Used To Be" and it's pretty neat-o! I like the usage of the voice combined with that retro synth aesthetic, the whole thing suits itself and works together very well. Keep it up, I will hear more from you soon, I'm sure :)

thank you! :) yeah you will hear more from me, but probably no more singing, the reason being i had an operation and it somehow damaged my voice unfortunately (the song is a few years old), since then I cant hit high notes anymore.

But I'm working on a full length album with a friend and am trying to send it to a few labels.

In terms of the first link I would much more critique the usage of that synth patch which lacks a bit of the mid and low ends to be fully usable in this track. I feel this track lacks in these areas - there is not enough going on the mid sections for me. But keep on truckin', I've enjoyed that piano track after all!

I found the guitar to be a little too overbearing on top of the beat, which I really liked. I think if you simplified the guitar parts a bit and scattered them out you could bring more focus to the base rhythm.

I really enjoyed this, the opening was spectacular and you have a really good voice. The ukulele didn’t do much for me, but that’s really subjective and i know most people would like it. My main issue was the lyrics. I know some people don’t put much effort in to them; your syllable work was good and rhe theme was coherent but overall the lyrics felt vapid and bland. Nice job though! Great mixing.

How does this have no recs or responses? This is the best thing i have ever heard in one of these threads, seriously. The vocals were great, the guitar was great, and the lyrics were great too. Great job friend!
