I live in pittsburgh. It's geographically more northeast but culturally more midwest IMO. there is no consensus. The most accurate description is also Ohio Valley btw. its definitely a rust belt city.

I'm from Canada. Went to Pittsburgh once, in 200...5 I think? For a high school baseball trip. You guys already had self-checkout in grocery stores, I think Giant Eagle was the one we went to. Interestingly, tobacco products were not controlled in any way, so it was a really good opportunity for teenage baseball players to purchase a fuckton of dip. Also, there were rats, and PNC Park is fucking great ballpark, and the sandwich with the coleslaw and fries is kinda overrated. Anyway, 9/10 city; keep doing what you're doing, Pittsburgh, would visit again.
