Probably the one you posted or maybe Siamese Dream. Nirvana was like my big awakening to music when I was 11, and I've never really stop liking it.

Honestly probably this

It literally came out in 2017 lmfao. How is this even technically possible, did you start listening to music two years ago

Attached: download.jpg (225x225, 7K)

Attached: Boydricemusic.jpg (200x176, 9K)

I haven't listened to the whole thing in years but it should still be this

I will probably never listen to another album as often as I have listened to System of a Downs self titled. I remember playing with legos and listening to that album on repeat for hours on end

Attached: 220px-System_of_a_down.jpg (220x220, 8K)

I've never listened to itaots in it's entirety :0)

I balled my eyes out listening to ITAOTS with the lyrics open. Try it, it’s fun.

Vektor's Terminal Redux. Probably one of the greatest tech-thrash albums of all time, imo.

That kid has a bigger dick than me :(

How is that possible? There are only three good songs and two are exclusively del songs.
I get it too user, this album got me into music, but seriously it doesn't stand out. It is pretty much shitty dance music for most of the songs.

Attached: tpmst.jpg (1000x1008, 164K)

I hate to say it but this. I cant listen to just one song, always play the full album.

Probably this, just because when I was a freshman in college I was deeply depressed, and I listened to this constantly. It just fit my depression perfectly (as did Rites of Spring and early Einstürzende Neubauten). There was a period where I was literally listening to the whole thing twice a day, once straight through and then once out of order. Which is kinda funny, because how the only songs I like on it are Something's Wrong, My Little Underground, You Trip Me Up, Some Candy Talking, Just Like Honey, Never Understand, and In a Hole. I must've driven my roommate crazy, and and I wouldn't be surprised if I caused myself some hearing damage.

The vocals sound detached and numb, and the lyrics are all about isolation. The noise is so perfectly aggressive, but when melodic notes ring out it's transcendent. Something's Wrong is the best track IMO.

I honestly never listen to it anymore, but I think I kinda graduated from it to The Wedding Present - Seamonsters. Seamonsters has a similar noise pop dynamic, but also has an almost post-hardcore heaviness, and these intimate, deep vocals and lyrics that almost sound like a crooner.

Nowadays I'm really into melodic genres that are superficially really ugly and abrasive, like crust punk (i.e. Martyrdöd, His Hero is Gone), and I wouldn't be surprised if Psychocandy prepped me for that.

pink floyd the wall
used to be my religion in high school
i obviously sympathized with the main character being an edgy teen
