Not since about 1991.

Where my 4 track homies at?

No.

Yes, I bought all my music on cassette, then when CDs came in I couldn't afford to buy them all again so I just stuck with cassette.

porta 02 meme user here, my bro.

im looking for a good walkman, found a wm-f8 allegedly in working order for 30 bucks. Get?

your collection is very gay and bland.

>buying a meme for more than $2
no.

For aesthetic purposes sure but there are better ones.

>>Yea Forums

cant find better ones for cheap. Found an Aiwa HS-T22 though

Yes, you can, I have multiple cassette players, one of them being an end of the life cycle Walkmans and it sounds amazing for 15 dollars too, doesn't look cool but it does it's job. Aiwa is GOAT.

So should I go for the Aiwa then? I should probably mention that I'm looking for earlier models, like at least '84. That aiwa is '88 but if you vouch for it I could try something out

so fucking pretentious

Fuck that’s cool

Hell yeah, Aiwa was the best brand of the 80s. Do check the condition of it though, thoroughly inspect the pictures.

how?

It looks pretty good on other images as well, even has the warranty sticker on the back. I'm kind of scared that there might be leaked caps and all that crap, though the seller says it plays just fine.

I have one from way back in the 70s when they were emerging, I haven't encountered any issues like that lol.

Hmm alright, I'll give this a try. By the way, I also have a Toshiba KT-S1 though it's not exactly working as it should be and dunno if I should attempt servicing it myself or just hand it over to an actual service. I opened its guts up and there's a weird mechanical problem I dunno what to do about, and also some electrical retarded problems

I don't know about the electrical problems because you haven't specified as for mechanical problems, you do have cassette tape cleaner right?

Thrift shops, yard sales, and family. I don’t listen to half of them, but the ones I do listen to are pretty quality. They are just cool to have
