Do you like Huggy Bear?

I don't know them, but I'm enjoying this. Kinda reminds me of a more quirky/indie Bikini Kill. You might like this:

bad religion reeeeee
lol I will keep your criticism in mind, don't worry
youre missing a lot of essential bands here
Yeah, but I want to keep it to one post. I am considering expanding it past that and including other subgenres like psychobilly, but that's gonna be more of a time commitment than I'm willing to make right now
>electric eels nowhere to be seen
>no mention of crime
you fucking people man
I'm just shitposting for the keks now, nice to have added naked raygun tho
Blink 182 is better than most bands on this list
I actually used to have Crime on here. I should probably consider putting them back.
Electric Eels are an interesting band, but I lean against including them because it seems more like they were proto-punk in the sense of being punk before punk, than in actually influencing the scene. It seems like the Cleveland scene's big influence is Rocket from the Tombs. Though now that I say that, maybe I should include that band...
Punk is shit, so are punks.
Can I just get some powerviolence recs? I've been listening to Apt 213, Despise You, Spazz
OP here - powerviolence is honestly one of the genres I'm least well versed in, but I strongly recommend the emoviolence band Ampere:

The other thing is, I really like the punky side of grindcore, and I think you might like that. Rotten Sound is a really solid band:

All day.
Do any of you know of any good swedish punk bands?
check out the Swedish D-Beat scene, the key band being Anti Cimex. Also, Martyrdöd (who are on the chart), and the band Skitsystem they basically grew out of
