I'd say it differs heavily from person to person, you should probably check it out to see what you prefer. I think both version are pretty even in terms of improvements/downgrades. For example, I think Famous Prophets shows its full potential on the remake, but Nervous Young Inhumans ends up totally flat compared to the original.

I couldn't disagree more. The fuzzy lo-fi overly effects laden production on the 2011 version fits the theme of the song extremely well.

I like the noisy lofi aesthetic of the song. The 2018 version carries this style over despite the better mixing. I just think the 2011 version gets really cluttered at a certain point of the song (might be during a breakdown I dont remember right now)
