i genuinely can't comprehend why anybody is actually angry about the mitski thing. when i saw the announcement about the album/song i found it mildly amusing, thinking he did it as a joke. i looked at his twitter and people are acting absolutely outraged. but then again it's all the sort of people who write like "UHM LIKE REALLY??????" and post gifs of smug black women and drag queens, so they're basically not human
