Mellow Singer/Songwriter & Country

Do you guys know of anything similar to Townes Van Zandt, Mojave 3, Nick Drake, Kauffman and Caboor, Jackson C. Frank, Songs Ohia (sometimes) where the songs are sparse and mellow with folk/country leanings. Thanks.

This is good stuff user. I've heard of Fairport Convention but the folk rock associations turned me off before.

what do you mean by mellow user? to me Townes has always seemed very bleak and sad, with only a few upbeat songs. But the instrumentation can actually be pretty intricate or heavy to me, and the production is often pretty weird or overdone desu

you might like Dave Rawlings Machine, Gillian Welch, or Jason Isbell

Maybe I should have been more specific when mentioning Townes. His s/t album always sounded mellow to me, more than the others. Thanks for the recs.
