Before I forget, Father Artois started a music blog for reviews and the like He's making an artist index for Yea Forums artists currently. Shoot me a DM on Soundcloud if you're interested in being added, I can send you a link to the blog + our discord
ooph, this is is soooo good. I love the instrumentals, they follow the opener so well lmao. The first two sections are my fav. The one immediately following the opening lines - the depressing one, and the next one with the beautifully played guitar. Overall, crazy good track !!
"Shore" is a pretty unique beat. That abrasive kinda cut off snare that starts one minute in opposition with the lowkey calm instrumentation is very nice. Love that kinda stuff. Keep it up.
Amazing flow on that new track dude. Simple yet very effective moody beat. Fits perfectly with your voice & delivery. Huge rec.
Available to stream our discography on all major platforms! If you are a Spotify user, please give us a follow and save some of our tunes! Spotify uses evil Al Gore Rhythms (algorithms) based on streams/follows/saves to determine who gets placed on playlists with massive reach. These playlists really help expand an artist's fan base and get their music out there to be heard by potentially thousands of people who like similar music that would otherwise have no opportunity to hear it. It is such a huge tool for artists and you could help a fellow Yea Forumssician by just taking 20 seconds or so to follow us and save some of our music. Thanks :)
>computer made bedroom pop >musical doodles >Just fucking around
I've fucked around fl studio for some time now, and I uploaded the music doodles that I liked.
Any recs for a non-beat-oriented fl studio tutorial? I want to end up doing some animal collective style shit in the future, but I don't know any technical stuff about synths and all that.
just followed you for straight-up uploading an entire project outta the blue as your first splash like half an hour ago. def-ly gonna check out the rest of the project. brings smileys on my face.
Thanks, hope you enjoy it. I don't know about soundcloud jargon but I wouldn't call this a project, I believe that if you think about it as a compilation of sketches of musical ideas then it will be more enjoyable. At least that's what i tell to myself to think they are bearable because of the lack of polish.

Btw, im guessing you are Bobby, I really like your stuff, love the atmosphere/walls of sound/earrapes. What software do you use to make them?
oh this one sounds like real music big fan of the cover art too btw, warehouse vibes on it I'd love to see you mess around with vocal modulation, but I understand if that's not your style. You'd get some very visceral textures out of chopping your bars and distorting them. I'll remember yours
>alternative/indie rock w/ country influence >fuzz bass >acoustic finger picking >slide guitar >slow buildup >probably the best sounding recording I've made
I like the vibe and production, but I think a stronger melody would make it stand out more.
While this isn't a style of music I'd seek out to listen to, I think it's very successful for what you're going for. Well-structured song with attention to craft and effective production. The sound matches the aesthetic.
