It's All Too Much

Underrated, yes, but that's a stretch.

i've got a feeling
lady madonna
being for the benefit of mr. kite

>In My Life
Lennon at his peak songwriting capability without all the bells and whistles of the studio. It's like Strawberry Fields Forever's more mellow, stoned older brother.
>I'm Only Sleeping
Just an awesome melody. It's oddly energetic for a song about sleeping, don't you think?
>She Said She Said
It's trite to say this, but Ringo is really at his best on this. Every instrument feels essential to this song.

Brian Wilson is BASED.

Within You Without You

Taxman

Imagine

ringo is honestly at his best in tomorrow never knows, but she said is definitely a close second

based

You're forgetting about Rain.

you're forgetting tell me why

...

Taxman

Across the Universe(yes I know it's just Lennon but idc)

Strawberry fields

>Day In the Life
>In My Life
>Let It Be

Day In the Life for the steps forward it made in terms of musical composition production and arrangement, In My Life for kicking off the baroque pop movement and just having an incredible melody of pure joy, and Let It Be because it was probably the most personal song ever written by any of them. The story about Paul's inspiration for writing it is pretty touching, and as a result it really allowed him to take a big step forward (at least for him) lyrics wise

Long, Long, Long
Something
While My Guitar Gently Weeps

How the fuck did George ultimately outshine McCartney?

>A Day In the Life
>Strawberry Fields Forever
>I'm Only Sleeping

'66 - '67 is peak-Lennon.

Honorable mention to I Am the Walrus, which is not druggy at all, but rather thoroughly British, replete with Lewis Carroll-esque lyrics and music that marries whimsy to foreboding.

1. A Day in the Life
2. Yer Blues
3. Yesterday

...

Day in the life is god-tier, but Let it be has to be my least favourite Beatles tune

2nded

You Never Give Me Your Money
A Day in the Life
Strawberry Fields Forever

Revolution 9
I Want You (She's So Heavy)
Helter Skelter

I refuse to pick 3 favorites. Depending on my mood I like different songs, and as soon as I listen to one song enough times I like other songs more.

During the Beatles in terms of songwriting:

Lennon>McCartney>Harrison>>>>Ringo

After the Beatles in terms of songwriting:

McCartney>Harrison>Lennon>>>>Ringo

the ones where ringo is lead vocals

>I’m looking through you
>hello, goodbye
>golden slumbers/carry that weight

>Helter Skelter
>Happiness is a Warm Gun
>I Want You (She's So Heavy)
