Not bad, Larks and Red and F# are all strong 4.5s for me. Unfortunately I can’t ever look past the nostalgic value ITCOTKC holds for me to have any other KC album top it. Even though I know those albums are a little more experimental
Closer is super good, and F#A# is the best GY!BE album. Don't really like Yes though.
AJJ is fucking terrible but MBDTF and ITCOTCK are both very good. And what I've heard of The Epic has also been highly enjoyable
>The Black Parade
Dude
>Relayer

>Master of Reality instead of Black Sabbath
>Larks' Tongues and Red instead of In The Court of the Crimson King
>choosing Disco Volante over Mr. Bungle or California
>choosing fucking Relayer over Close to the Edge
stop trying so hard to be a contrarian
Why do you have the same album twice
Also Closer over Unknown Pleasures
No 5 star reviews from me. There are songs I would give 5 stars to, but I only rate albums on my account (might make an alt for songs though). But I've never listened to a 5 star, flawless album, as for me that would mean that every song is a 5 and I'm not sure there's ever been an album made like that. The vast majority of my ratings fall between 2 and 3 stars because I try not to get overemotional when rating music.
You do you man
>Yosuke Yamashita Trio
10/10 fucking taste. Contrastic and Eric Dolphy are pretty cool too
I like your taste, friend. Please what's your account?

complete guide to insufficiency is based
is haikus about cannibalism actually good? i thought the only appeal was the band name
That 5/5 for Graduation is based
Alright you get a pass for choosing Songs of Love and Hate
Good choices. Kudos for not having a ton of 10's
3/10 most of those albums are Baby's first indie rock album
Check out Celestaphone
Mississippi Luau - Charlie McAlister
Swell Maps
I was very underwhelmed by Jane from Occupied Europe, should I check something else out by them?
Their other work is quite similar so probably not. It took me quite some time to fully appreciate them so maybe give Jane a few more listens when you have nothing else to listen to.
the Tim Hecker and Mid-Air Thief album are amazing, don't quite get your love of the Antlers or Sigur Ros album though
lmao how does it feel to be this much of a basic Yea Forums bitch
also >having more than five 5s

Epic dude
I really only rate my favorite stuff
post yours retard
I bet you feel better about yourself after making fun of everyone in the thread
Pink Moon is one of the few mu core albums I’ve never given a try. Maybe this is a sign to do so
>casiopea
YEAAAAHHHHH, god I love that album
>3/10 most of those albums are Baby's first indie rock album
Every album on my list is actually a 5/5 at least. Putting Jeff Buckley as 5/5, or Remain in the Light, or Doppelgaanger.... sad attempt to distinguish your taste from what's popularly accepted

White album is a 5/10 at best. No offense but I legitimately don’t understand when people assign that score.
Based taste. Correct Bum Tickley pick and Contortions and Minutemen are the fucking shit
Deep Turtle were great
Too each their own my man.
It’s constantly back and forth between that and abbey road as my favorite. It’s got great depth of character, and I like an album with an engrossing sound/lore.
Ya fair enough, not trying to bash. I just get nothing out of Birthday or any of the imo cheap Little Richard impersonations on it, and Wild Honey Pie blows imo
Tame Impala is a fantastic band and I respect your picks even if they don’t have a 5/5 for me
Wild Honey Pie is my least favorite song (although I still enjoy it).
It’s the primary thing that keeps it that 0.25 away from 10 imo.
As for birthday I understand your reasoning, although I still enjoy the performance and personality it has.
Larks tongues In aspic is my favorite of theirs as well
Although I still slightly prefer GKMC (very close though).
Unknown pleasures is a classic of course.
Couple others there that while I don’t personally love, I still can appreciate in a positive light.
what are some 5/5 songs?
Not that guy but I also only rate songs on a second account.
I’ll just post 1 page for brevity
Yeah contortions and minutemen are badass af and I agree that mista thug is nearly 10/10 worthy shit slaps
not that guy either, but i agree with him. the closest rating to a 10 ive given an album is a 9.5 to Diary by Sunny Day Real Estate (pheurton skeurto was really unnecessary).
some perfect songs though? for me:
Sunny Day Real Estate - Seven
City Of Caterpillar - And You’re Wondering How A Top Floor Could Replace Heaven
Tyler, The Creator - See You Again
KIDS SEE GHOSTS - Feel The Love
Vektor - Recharging The Void
Xi - FREEDOM DiVE
Paramore - Still Into You
The Beach Boys - God Only Knows
Brand New - Limousine
Death Grips - You Might Think He Loves You...
My Chemical Romance - I Never Told You What I Do For A Living
GKMC is great(a 4.5 for me) but TPAB really is one of the greatest hip hop records of this decade and I don't care about all the memes and hate associated with it
sup Scaruffi
Range Life could very well be my favorite Pavement song
definitely
Kate Bush - The Dreaming
Sparks - Propaganda
Iggy Pop - The Idiot
The Smiths - The Queen is Dead
Brian Eno - Here Come The Warm Jets
The Stranglers - Rattus Norvegicus
At least my favourite albums that come to mind
The Dreaming is a fucking masterpiece user and TQID is amazing(their only fantastic album imo). Wouldn’t even put HCTJ in my top 5 eno but that’s only because he has so many great records
Check out Techno Animal- Brotherhood of the Bomb if you haven’t yet
I'm actually not a fan of the Smiths at all past The Queen is Dead, which surprises me. I do like a few of their singles though, and Morrissey's first three solo albums.
The HCTWJ nomination is mostly due to warm memories, I just have pleasant thoughts associated with the album.
If I had to toss in a few more conditional 10's mostly based of subjective feels:
New Order - Technique
Roxy Music - Country Life
and some P-Model album, either Big Body or One Pattern
Have a few singles in mine
AJJ and MBDTF good choices.
very nice taste, probably a very quiet person
jesus you're such a stereotype
Fair enough my man.
Seems like every other time I listen to it TPAB either grows on me a lot or slightly regresses.
Right now I feel it’s about 8.25/10 but I’ve had it at 5/5, 4.5/5, hell even 3.5/5 when it first came out.
I can’t maintain a consistent opinion on it yet. I will say, very recently both damn and UU have grown on me a lot.
Honestly I could make the case for any of those being his best depending on my mood.
Still haven’t heard section 80, god knows why.
& yeah range life just makes me want to smoke a joint, go camping, read, & not talk to anyone besides my best mates for a week or more.
I resetted my ratings recently so I don't have a lot of rated albums yet
Nice stuff!
Great taste, check out 'Broadcast & The Focus Group Investigate Witch Cults of the Radio Age'
I like it, what do you think of Despondent Transponder? It's very similar to Loveless
>My Chemical Romance
Did Death Grips really ripped off that album?
HAHAHAH
nigga you fucked up
No, just influenced by it, as are probably 90% of industrial hip hop artists after its release
dude get on s80 ASAP my second favorite Kendrick record behind TPAB. Some really amazing tunes on that. ADHD is one of my favorite songs of his
also comfy af and accurate range life description. agreed
I really like broadcast and witch cults is an interesting record. I love my motoriks and kosmische lullabies tho so Stereolab and Pram win out on that trinity.
Czech out
Gastr Del Sol - Mirror Repair
Motor bass - Pansoul

is the a way to get all your 5s displayed on one page? I don't feel like stitching together 4 and a half pages.
>not thinking the black parade is incredible
just post the link, that's what I did
respectable pick for best Fall album, but Tago is the worst of CAN's big 3 for sure(future days being the best)
Modal Soul is a beautiful album. Love his rendition of Ordinary Joe
Are u rarted, boomer?
Closer is the better album.
Not even a fan outside of that one but agreed, fantastic blend of post-hardcore, emo, and rock opera. a 9.5/10, could be a 10 without Teenagers
I won't lie. I reckon it's sentimental value that pushes Tago higher - it was the first Krautrock album I listened to and enjoyed. I have Future as a 4.5 and can understand why you'd say that.
nah, tago is the best cause its the most rockin'.
Based Nang Nang poster
I can understand that
Great anco taste but Bladee is trash
interested in the Casiopea record. Innerspeaker is great
Hot Rats HoLV and pink Moon are in my 5’s too. Good taste user
I love Pram and Stereolab; thanks for the Gastr Del Sol rec, it's really good

Check out Mass of the Fermenting Dregs or if you just straight up want some watered down Midori check out 385.
Check out The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble for something similar in mood to Dummy.
