I wish they'd have done more stuff like the Narcotic Suite

the entire Invaders Must Die album is absolutely Kino and anyone who argues otherwise is a pretentious hipster.

Wasn't their guitarist gonna do an album of Prodigy covers that were 100% guitar and vocals? Like he was going to make all the sounds with just his guitar and effects. Did anything come of that project?

The only song I knew by name was smack my bitch up. but I learned today songs from them I have heard for years just never knew the name. so I also like breathe and firestarter. I read about Keith Flint earlier today and he was an absolutely interesting fellow, seemed like a really cool guy and would be cool to be his friend, one of the lads. A shame to see how things turned out. r.i.p F(riend)

I was a big fan of Prodigy too :D
My favourite song? Gotta be the one where he goes "Funk Soul Brother"

Cuz they know that I can

Hot ride and stand up

soundcloud.com/ewanpage/sorry-kate-we-love-you

this is me what is the essential prodigy to listen to?

Experience = hardcore ravers
Jilted Generation = matured breaks
Fat of the Land = Fratboy electronic/rock crossover
Anything else = Just don't

thx will check those out

>Anything else = Just don't
There're still some interesting moments though

AONO = sleazy electroclash with hooks
IMD = attempts at going back to roots and some Pendulum worship
TDIME = even more attempts at going back to roots
NT = Really nothing interesting

>death of the prodigy dancer
too soon

Breathe
Omen
Their Law
Vodoo People

No Good (Start the Dance)

youtube.com/watch?v=uTRD0RUksVo

Firestarter
Break and Enter
most of their early stuff really

Jilted Generation and Fat of the Land were the progenitors of the rest of my musical tastes from the age of 7. If it aint a bit dark, electronic or heavy, I aint listening to it.

Attached: FlatCircle.jpg (564x330, 30K)

not saying it went all downhill from that...
but jericho is fucking insane

Climbatize is nice

Pretty much everything from Fat of the Land.
Wipeout XL and Firestarter are pretty much what got me into electronic music when I was a kid

Also Timebomb Zone is really good. A throwback to their oldschool break style
youtube.com/watch?v=-5tHiZACxbI

I was really looking forward to seeing them on tour next month but he had to an hero

F

my G

Firestarter
Invaders must die

There are too many good ones to pick favorites from. I think it would be easier to name something that I'm not into.

>Breathe
>Warrior's Dance

Best album was Dirtchamber Sessions

The Day Is My Enemy

What Evil Lurks
Wind it Up
Your Love (Remix)
Out of Space
Fire (Sunrise Version)
Poison

youtube.com/watch?v=svJvT6ruolA

spitfire is special to me but firestarter is always going to be my top one.

out of space is literally one of the most overplayed and cheesiest dance tracks of all time. don't hate it just telling the truth.

*boing*

>out of space is literally one of the most overplayed and cheesiest dance tracks of all time
I've literally never heard it outside of me personally listening to the album. Is it a british thing?

appeared in millions of dj mixes, has a bunch of remixes, also in mixes, lots of commercial play. the hook is just catchy enough to fucking annoy you over time. i guess it is a regional thing but i'm not personally british, i'm just amused by how cheesy of a record it is and how much playtime and attention it's received.

if you need an illustration: every pressing it's appeared on and this is only the original mix.
discogs.com/composition/f786a445-6b7a-4072-9868-933663336623-Out-Of-Space

You like firestarter lls

It doesn't get cheesier

Invaders must die and Thunder come to mind.
Not much else that's good sadly.

THIS

Firestarter is the epitome of The Prodigy becoming everything wrong with the rest of their career.

Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned is my favorite top to bottom, but you can't beat Smack My Bitch Up as the best single. Plus the video is so fucking great. I don't think Keith was on AONO.

IF I WAS IN WORLD WAR TWO THEYD CALL ME SPITFIRE *BWOOOOOM*

at least firestarter slams from start to finish. that personally sold it to me as an angsty teenager, can't argue with my feelings on that. out of space fucks too but right at the moment it refrains into chase the devil i'm just fucking done anymore. super-primo early rave cheese *boing*

Only one mention of Their law?

That song has such a amazing energy. It's great

This is how you can spot the zoomer who wasn't even alive when firestarter came out.

It really shines with the Hot Ride, Wake Up Call, and Action Radar tracks in the middle. Some of the songs like Spitfire and Medusa's Path I could take or leave as individual songs but in terms of listening an album in one go I've found myself coming back to this one the most of theirs.

So this is what it takes for Yea Forums to start liking Invaders Must Die

Yeah, I gotta say that album blew my mind. Especially considering when it was released, essentially predating a lot of the electro scene that would follow. None of the other albums are as consistent I'd say.

The whole fat of the land

How can you NOT like it?

Jerico

slips under the radar for no reason. good mention.

Warriors dance, because it used to play after a round on the counter strike source jailbreak map I use to play.

Attached: 1533689993818.jpg (400x400, 24K)

Liam also managed to get a Twista feature that didn't sound forced or gratuitous.

nice trips

I don't have a favorite song I just listen to their whole albums, it's good workout music.

I was alive when Experience came out.
